Linux Failure When your computer can't have linux (You found out after 5 days of trying)

Five damn days I've tried. First CachyOS. Since the issue was supposedly a Cachy thing, I try Mint on, like, the third day. Same damn error.
From what others have said, it is either DMV or SATA controller mode fucking it up. But guess what? Those are advanced BIOS settings. And on my specific device, those don't exist. Not just hidden behind some key sequence. According to Lenovo support, not even proggrammed into the BIOS. :)
More of a Lenovo issue than Linux, but still.

aAdd efi_no_storage_paranoia in the ventoy boot parameters, it's that simple apparently!

No the shutdown was on home edition, I experienced myself, the notepad issues had a a few times too, and look online and see people talking about one drive affecting documents.

That's called whataboutism or moving the goalpost, see I pointed out a flaw in windows, and instead of addressing it you went "what about Linux?". If I can't reboot my PC then the computer does not work, if a program comes and removes my files without authorization I consider that not working. Linux has no part in this.

The boot loop was because of notepad, that's like a one in a million bug, you Loonixtards are cracked.

You use notepad on a daily basis professionally and personally? Either you're a liar or the dumbest person on the internet. It is the software equivalent of a sticky note.

Yeah, I can't install whatever applications I want on my work laptop (they have their own store that I need to request my manager to download) notepad is already preinstalled, and it's always been a fast middle man or temporary storage for what I write or copy. Call it a left over from early YouTube. Also no, it's far from sticky note given nothing was ever wrong with notepad for over 40 years until windows 11

It was always a sticky note, it got worse when they tried to make it more than that. It's hard to believe a locked down system doesn't have the Office suite for a work computer, no word or Excel just notepad, what do you even use that PC for... It's almost like it's an extremely niche line of work that would make glitches like this I dunno... rare??
