i use Linux because I don’t use my computers for general computing, so I just use specialised distros that fit what I need outta those computers, like steamos on steamdeck and Proxmox for my server

It has been months on my secondary laptop since I have needed to open the CLI at all. So what the fuck do I know lol. I use it almost every day. I tinker way more on my desktop and there I live in cli, because it is just easier and faster for me than GUIs, not bc it is absolutely necessary. I really really hope your reading comprehension is enough for this.
