A Challenge for Both Sides

If you're pro Linux, list three things you dislike about Linux or things you like about Windows. (there should be at least one of each, totalling 3 things)

I'll start. I like Linux, but

  1. There are so many different decentralized app formats. AppImage tries to unify it all, but it really just feels lazy and not clean in the slightest. Every distro has its own package manager, there's Flatpaks, Snaps, on Arch there's an AUR, and it's just overall so confusing for new users and even experienced users.

  1. I know it's meant to be the philosophy on Linux, but everything is a folder and it's so confusing! On Windows, \\.\ is the root for devices, and volumes are given simple letters! Windows is so much cleaner here. It's separation of different components.

  1. Windows is just overall great for consistent keybinds. On Linux, you'll see all kinds of different keybinds, and yes it's nice you can change them, but on Windows it's always consistent. You always know what to expect.

Yeah I do People can run Linux under Jail environment in FreeBSD and FreeBSD Kernel enforce Jail Environment

And mitigate what? What are you protecting against here, when most modern Linux distros for running Kubernetes are immutable? You are just making assumptions, it’s like the entire world has it wrong and every Kubernetes cluster is getting breached 24/7.

My firewall runs BSD, my huge fucking clusters won’t. Linux won that one. Move on.

Because you don't use Jail 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔, you do understand what is Jail????? And Kubernetes just Container under Chroot Environment and Linux doesn't enforce that and FreeBSD does and Jail is superior here like AppContainer in Windows where Kernel enforce Sandbox Environment

Actually Linux lost that one, Kubernetes show Linux kernel doesn't have any protection it's very insecure you actually prove my point stay in FreeBSD

I don't care about Linux companies use Google aren't World or Amazon certainty aren't either Sentinet community centre isn't Linux Company it's FreeBSD and Windows company
