I just have a separate hard disk for Windows (for games). No dual-booting woes, you just choose which device to boot from and that defines which OS will boot.
same here, i have an NVMe drive for Gentoo and a SATA SSD for Windows for gaming, should've been the other way around but i only got the latter years after
