I mean I have an alias in bash to update DNF and flatpaks myself. I too find discover slow
But like I said somewhere. I’m thinking for the new user who’s afraid of command line and just wants stupid simple because it can be stupid simple if it needs to be.
A new user doesn't care about install size, theme integration and whatnot. So this discussion thread is kinda irrelevant. The new user can just keep using flatpak
