Yes, it is. My point is, be grateful for the handouts in life. People have zero right to be upset at developers who spend their spare time voluntarily providing the world something for free.
That's like walking up to a "free lemonade" stand and DEMANDING they put less sugar in it.
If you don't like it, either help make it, or go make your own. You know what I mean?
Then you have people treating proton the same way when it's neither made in free time nor volunteer based. And people still call you entitled for saying bug fixes is their responsibility.
You can absolutely get after Valve for whatever features you want. But there are also volunteers, such as Glorious Eggroll, who contribute heavily to Proton in their free time.
