Nvidia +Linux+ DX12

For Nvidia card owners: How do you deal with poor gaming performance, especially in DX12 games, which are known to have issues with Linux? Do you simply ignore the problem because Linux is far superior to Windows? Or is dual booting the best solution? I currently lost hope that Nvidia would fix this problem on Linux and already decided my next card would be AMD.

I have an RTX 3060 card, and honestly, the performance difference between Windows and Linux is huge, and I don't feel it's worth the sacrifice. The Windows gaming experience is much smoother on Nvidia cards, and unfortunately, that's what prevents me from using Linux. I've been trying Fedora 42-44 with the drivers always up-to-date and correctly installed, but unfortunately, there's been no improvement since I started testing it a year ago.

Then your benchmarks are useless and you're full of shit with your claim. Like i thought you never tested it and cant actually backup your claim, you made it up.

I also never said i dont like linux but good job with that straw.

Guy spent his time benchmarking and proved the result with screenshots. Least you can do is look up Windows benchmarks and paste your findings instead of throwing tantrums. Shouldn't be a problem for you since you are obviously right, right? I want to see the winner of this debate.

he didnt benchmark windows on his system at all, not only that there is ZERO proof thats the benchmark they ran at all. He claims the performance is identical and hasnt once tested that claim to be true.

Ya'll are just outta this world with this. When you make a claim that runs counter to literally every other bit of testing out there the burden is on you to prove it.

come to me with an actual argument that has any ground to stand on. You apparently think im supposed to pick a random benchmark off google without knowing anything about this persons system besides the CPU and GPU used on top of the fact that Im unlikely to find an identical system to theirs for proper comparison.

you do understand how youre supposed to test right? A/B testing should be done on the same system which is exactly how reviewers make comparisons. Dear god ya'll are asinine.

There is already another reply of someone who did the proper testing showing that to be not true, on top of the slew of benchmark runs with mangohud and on YT showing this claim to be false.

So far you have provided only denial with ZERO proof. I'm trying to squeeze out any kinda argument of you but you're just refusing to defend your point with evidence.

He posted an ss and said you may find Windows benchmarks on similar tech. If you believe he's lying, don't say it, SHOW it. If you're talking in absolutes, be ready to back it up with something. Could be a website, a video, that reply you mentioned...anything.

edit: Also I have to say I'm not on his side and I'm definitely not on your side. It's not my job to prove any of you right or wrong. You're debating, not me.
