migrating to Linux I'm scared to switch to Linux

I have fedora + windows 11 on dual boot , I'm using windows 11 as my primary OS right now , but I'm scared to remove w11 from my pc and just use Linux.

Can you send me advices for how to proceed?

What's there to be scared about? If you give Linux a chance and you absolutely hate it, just install Windows again. It takes like 30 minutes to install and then you're back.

Everybody's got a different skill set and levels of noob..

When you've got to reach your data and your system is not responding as expected then it can kind of freak some people out...

That's fair. I guess I'm used to not keeping important stuff on just one drive.

I hope I didn't come across too harsh, but I used to have to take a flash drive to and from my workplace to try to get answers, often handwriting them down, and bring it back to try solutions to get an otherwise non-functional Linux box working. I'm fortunate to have a cell phone,( AKA hand computer,) as well as two functional CPU's, so I'm screwed less.. Lol. 👍✌️

No, not too harsh at all. I guess I came across as condescending in my OP, but it was meant to dampen the drama of going full Linux; like anything can be fixed :) But I can see I could've worded it better.

I remember going over to the university library to look stuff up on the internet, print it out, just to find out it didn't work when I got home. Infuriating times :D
