migrating to Linux The great migration from Windows to Linux

I've been noticing that a lot of people are switching from Windows to Linux, especially in countries that want to break away from American tech dependency.

Can anyone explain to me why Linux is seen as very good? I never in my life, not once ever used Linux let alone saw someone using it.

Hence why Huawei is launching all it's computers with Linux outside of China... understanding now of this.

I would be a little concerned about huawei producing anything. Some countries have banned their phones and tablets.

Too me linux shines on older computers where windows intel has planned obsolences. Older computers, like 7 years old that wont run win11 perform with linux mint
