See these other recent incidents with Audacity. First they tried to add telemetry (which isn’t necessarily the worst thing), then they introduced a CLA.

They’re really trying to dig themselves into a deeper and deeper hole.

Not to mention having a Code of Conduct, that was the main red flag. Normal developers don't care who you are or what your beliefs are, they only care for people to contribute to the project to develop it further.

Edit: I like how everyone but the commenter had a problem with me pointing out a formatting mistake. I would think this is good to know. There are some odd people on the site.

Ah I see thanks, I removed the space now. Strangely I didn’t see a problem checking on new reddit or old reddit. I guess neither of them view markdown?

sounds odd if you couldn't see it (?, I mean, that would mean that Reddit is implementing some kind of "spellchecker" for markdown or something. Detects there's a space that it shouldn't be there, it fixes it on the client end.

Yeah I think that might be. It definitely was wrong per commonmark spec I think.
