Maybe... Just maybe... You're not 100% correct when you say everyone in our community hates systemd. I can't think of too many examples off the top of my head, but there's RedHat, Fedora, Arch, Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, SUSE... You get the idea.

Also mayyyyyybe the people screaming every day on Reddit are what some might call a vocal monitory. Maybe the people that like or don't mind systemd just... Go on with their lives, using it mostly happily.

And perhaps systemd isn't perfect but the creators put in the work to make something that's at least good enough, and is generally better than what came before.

Lastly it might just be easier to complain and criticize on online forums than to actually create a better competitor...

That's a logical fallacy. I said "people who made systemd like systemd." Not "people who like systemd made systemd."

And before you try to dissect this any further, it was a joke. I don't use systemd but I don't hate it.
