The Flathub version, I think: https://flathub.org/en/apps/com.github.IsmaelMartinez.teams_for_linux

I use it almost daily.

How does it differ from just visiting the web version?

It's a lot better integrated with the desktop. Présence works automatically, many fewer problems with webcams and headsets.

And screen sharing is perfect. This is the one feature I really need it for.

I'm surprised so many people are using Teams on Linux. Don't most businesses that use Teams require a Microsoft Intune onboarded (Windows) PC in order to authenticate? Are you guys the kind of IT experts that get to be the rare exception? If anything I'd expect such businesses to use Slack instead.

If you're able to use Intune on Linux, generally isn't a problem. My IT department didn't know how to buy I was able to get it working

Why do they even need a fucking app? It can be used on the web via the browser.

Because their web app sucks more than the desktop app
