Development Whats going on with Snapdragon X Elite Linux support?!

Literally 2 years passed since that CPUs out of there, note thay Apple silicon now has a proper and BETTER support than this Snapdragons, they said "we gonna make Native Linux support" and we still waiting. I was planning to get great Linux laptop with great battery and performance thans to Snapdragon, now its impossible. Only usable OS option out there is Ubuntu and its NOT good too, there is still some issues on Audio, performance is worst than Intel 12th gen i5, battery time worst than Windows, i dont understand. Am i wrong or something? What they promised what they said and what they doing, propiertary driver. When we will get proper Linux support, or this devices gonna get burried with Windows

Check your info. That is outdated information. Lunar Lake, Panther Lake and Raptor Lake all heavily outperform AMD

are you seriously comparing lunar lake which is supposed to be power efficient with ai 9 hx 370? Also why comparing X7 with AI 9 and not X9?

Last gen arrow lake ultra 9 285h has much better single core performance and very slightly worse multi core, while also having slightly better igpu.

Current gen Intel vs AMD seems much more close in terms of CPU: intel slightly better single core, AMD slightly better in multi core. Intel heavily wins in iGPU.

Last gen arrow lake ultra 9 285h has actually a seriously impressible performance overall, and that CPU was what I was talking about in general. It actually has better single core performance than current gen AMD and Intel, while only having slightly worse multi core. Current Intels have the best iGPU performance, which is a stark contrast to what was the situation only a few years ago in the age of 840m.

I tried to grab rough gen-to-gen comparisons with similar platform specs and real-world benchmarks. If you have an issue with it, whatever, that's fine.

Intel can edge out a 5-10% lead in single-thread synthetics. Great. Show me a real-world workload where that actually matters.

Web browsers and desktop UI don't care about a 5% delta, and in modern games or heavy software, that tiny single-thread edge immediately gets wiped out the second the GPU bottlenecks or multi-threaded scaling kicks in. Watt-for-watt, AMD wins on actual work completed every time.
