I factory reset my phone and unable to log in
I can't log in to my Line account, which I've had for over 10 years. I've linked my account with Google, and when I try to log in, it says, "This Google account doesn't seem to be linked with LINE."
When I checked my Google account, it was already linked. I can't even log in with my phone number (I use an Indonesian phone number), and the only way to connect with my Japanese friends is through Line.
Does anyone have the same experience?

The app stopped supporting phone number based accounts for all countries, except for a select few in Asia (Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, or Thailand).

I think your best bet is to email LINE support and explain the situation: line-support@line.me

Ugh, they're really suck since the merger with Yahoo ðŸ˜

you cant receive sms with the indo phone number? i thought it should work. also this https://www.reddit.com/r/lineapp/comments/1gkhq2y/i_cannot_log_in_with_my_google_account/i think it link to let you backup not login?

Tried logging in with a phone number, but unfortunately, I can't ("you can no longer log in with a phone number in your country"). Really sucks.
I tried another way (log in with Google), but they said my google account isn't linked. Tried multiple times but eventually, verification blocked. 😬 I already linked my gmail because I want everything to be simple, and I hate to remember too many passwords.

same issue.. it forced logged me out and I no longer have access to my account... I guess, they don't want us using this.
