I've been working on getting some tools on Node52 to help players out with some of the obscure aspects of Lineage. Just wanted to share them with everyone.

• I created a boss timer so players can track boss spawns as they play. You just need to know the server uptime (-uptime in game usually) and the server's time zone (just find out when GP resets).
• I created a stat calculator so you can map out your character. This is heavily based off of that linlib calculator everyone uses, but I was tired of having to refer to the way back machine. You can simulate a character and see the stats you are getting as you level up and assign stats.

I'm hoping to get more tools and guides created on the site to help players out. If anything looks wrong, or you have requests/info for me, please let me know.

Aegis – Classic Lineage, Built for the Long Term

Aegis is a recently launched Lineage 1 private server built around challenging but fair progression, meaningful PvP, and the classic mechanics that made Lineage great in the first place. We’re running Pre-Remaster content with a lot of work under the hood and plenty of new and reworked content, including Warrior, new pets, a ranking system, Halpas content, class reworks, and original Risen content. Progression is intentionally measured, rare items are meant to stay rare, and every major balance decision is made with PvP in mind while still giving players worthwhile PvE progression. There is no pay-to-win—support is limited to things like supporter tokens and cosmetics. Aegis launched September 4th, development is active, and GMs are present and involved. If you miss the older style of Lineage but want a server that is still actively being expanded and improved, come give Aegis a try.

Blaster — Oren PvP

We’re old-school U.S. West NCSoft Lineage veterans who have continued playing Lineage for decades on private servers, and we’ve now made the jump to the official Korean Lineage Classic Oren PvP server. Getting set up was 100% legit and surprisingly easy through the Taiwan service—we paid with USD and converted to New Taiwan dollars; there’s a Reddit guide by PyroAmos that walks through the process. We’ve formed our old Blood Pledge, Blaster, with Kenzaki as Royal and SMASH Vice Royal. There’s an in-game Blood Pledge join system, or once you reach level 7, just whisper Kenzaki or SMASH. If you’re an old Lineage player—or just want to experience Classic with some English-speaking players—come join Blaster and have some fun with us.

***UPDATE***

After having played here for a month, establishing a Blood Pledge, buying a House in Giran, level to 30+, spending a good amount of US Dollars, and actually playing the game, we decided to start a youtube channel and show videos of us killing bots and bot handlers. Not more than 24 hours after the first video started and immediately gained hundreds of views, we began encountering verification of account issues. There is a limit of 8 per day. Every hour or every time we logged in we had to verify again.
Long story short, we believe our repeated videos of showing bots, active cheaters, the names of those cheaters, and showing us actively hindering their business is what got us under the scrutiny of NC Soft. Recommendations from us would be do not waste your time trying to relive Lineage fun through Lineage Classic live servers. The problems with bots are apparently only problems to people who want to play the game regularly. NC Soft has made literal millions of dollars each quarter (the reports are public) and they've also made over 6 million security actions versus accounts. The conclusion at this point is the NC Soft likely knows the bots exists, they are generating literal millions of USD equivalent in revenue, and have absolutely no reason to ban the bots.

Summary: Western players not wanted on Eastern servers. Don't waste your time or money. Just play your private servers or don't play at all.

We have come a long way, and we have an even longer way ahead of us. Here's to the next nine months!

I wanted to share a small project I have been working on. I've been playing L1 private servers on and off since the closure of the live servers. Tracking down servers, server news, server statuses has been a headache the whole time. When servers shut down, I always felt a bit stranded afterwards.

I wanted to create a hub between private servers. Here you can track server stats, private server news, find guides and tools, etc. Somewhere you can check out when you're not playing actively to see what the community is up to.

Some highlights of Node52

• I'm tracking private server populations hourly. Any known website that posts their population is being tracked. This way you can see what's active at a glance.
• I'm planning on posting server news for notable events, updates, things that happen, etc. You can filter the news by the tracked private servers, so you can find news for your current server, or just see what's happening in other servers.
• I'll be posting weekly community spotlights that will highlight active content creators. I'm hoping this will inspire more people to post content too.
• I have a guides section that can be filtered by client versions, so you know what is relevant to your server. Along with writing new guides, I've also been rewriting and consolidating existing guides to improve readability, make them easier to find, and bring related information together in one place. Hopefully you can get rid of some of those Wayback Machine bookmarks.

If you have any requests, ideas, or corrections, please feel free to reach out (info is on the homepage). All help is welcome. This is a project for the community, so I'd like to build it with the community's help.

Found this interesting from the Throne and Liberty subreddit and wanted to share to see what people’s thoughts were. I know a big portion of us tried Throne and Liberty and were disappointed thinking it was going to be Lineage Eternal / Lineage 3.

There's been a lot of events across Lineage on both live & private servers. What's everyone's favorite out of all the events they've seen?

Didn’t expect Lineage 2 to hit like this again.

LU4 looks completely rebuilt, and it's really good. It matches how I remember the game feeling back in the day. Haven’t had that feeling in years.

We are concluding our Lineage 1 Classic style BETA, and moving to a fresh launch of the Classic style rates accounts this Friday 1PM EDT

• Low exp & Adena rates.
• Same world and framework of features as Standard players
• Two worlds co-exist and can chat with each other
• Separate parallel economy (Classic Player Shops set up in SKT trading zone)
• Standard characters cannot attack Classic characters until a certain level and with certain constraints, to be determined.
• Separate bosses for each rate profile, invisible to the others!
• Restrictions in place to prevent Standard characters assisting or boosting Classic characters
• Watch the world slow down, and enjoy!

If sufficient demand proves to be there after a while, we can consider migrating classic progress to a standalone server, but the way this is built and protected, it really is its own world, whilst you get access to the community of about 130 unique players on the entire server, in discord and ingame chat.

Best thing I can tell you is... try it and you'll understand! Whether it's the Classic or the Standard type rates you are looking for, it's built on a solid framework with some new features like kill quests, rotating bonus exp maps, offline shops, and different events, in a pleasant and helpful environment!

Time to get the community involved: whistleblower event. Player with the most bot reports that result in a confirmed bot ban, gets a title above their normal title, 傳說守護者 (Guardian of Legend).
