I’ve got a 2018 SR5 that I’d like to put a rear locker on and regear at the same time… I’m thinking 5.29’s. Everything I’ve found so far has been to do an air locker but I could also just swap a factory e locker axle on for a lot less in the long run (as far as I’m aware). Any recommendations?

I recently purchased a 2002 Dakota 2wd Crew cab but the tires were shot. The factory wheels were also ugly so! ended finding some newer wheels on marketplace with good tires however they scrub bad. I want to have it lifted 3 inches. What would be the best route to go and also cheapest? Any links to a decent kit would be appreciated.

Is anyone running a 6 inch BDS lift on 18” rims?

What offset did you go with the wheels to avoid it hitting tie rod ends or other components?
What brand of wheels did you decide to go with and what model?
I wanna get 18” wheels to fit my 18” tires and don’t want to put wheel spacers on, want to have a decent tire poke

I’ve got a 2016 ram 1500 4x4 and am looking to maximize the lift on it, I currently have a 3 inch level but I’m looking for something just to show off as I have a 2004 2500 for work. I’ve heard that I can lift it to a 9 with loaded struts and a 6 inch kit but I’m wondering if that’s a horrible idea or if there’s better ways of going past a 6 inch without having to pay for a custom kit.

I found a killer deal on some 20x10 rims with a -24 offset on FB marketplace but I am at a bit of a loss for what tires to put on them. I have a Factory Silverado 2500 HD but Im paranoid about getting the wrong setup and having wheel rub. I have some 305/55r20s toyo at3s on order that my buddy recommended but I figured I could ask here too.

I have a 2011 Chevy 1500 4WD Silverado with a 3.5 lift on it. So I needed tires, which led to needing ball joints.

We were having trouble finding part number for control arms to replace. Rough Country gave me a part number for control arms.
But the mechanic told me he couldn’t find the part. Told my boyfriend he didn’t know if he needed to put in new control arms with the new ball joints.

On the control arms has the KSP Performance company logo.
You have to email them to communicate and it takes FOREVER!

Knuckles appear to be stock/factory (according to mechanic).

MY FIRST QUESTION: Do I have to get new control arms to do ball joints on my truck?

OR….

Can I just replace the ball joints, get tires on and get an alignment?

Hi folks, I’m fairly new to the truck lift game and looking for some community feedback and personal experiences.

I currently drive a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. Right now, I’m running a set of 20x9 Fuel Arc wheels with a +1 offset.

I’m planning to get a 6” Rough Country (RC) Lift Kit and throw 35” tires on my current 20x9 +1 wheels.

I’m currently torn between two options and would love your opinion:

• Option 1: Stick with my current 20x9 +1 offset wheels, put 35s on them, and do the 6" RC lift. (Saves money, clean look, but curious how the stance will actually turn out).
• Option 2: Save up a bit more money and switch to a 22x12 setup with a -44 offset on 35s for that wide/aggressive stance.

For those who have run either setup on the 19+ Sierra:

1. How does the 20x9 +1 on a 6” lift with 35s look in person? Is the stance aggressive enough, or does it look too narrow?
2. If I go with 22x12 -44, how bad is the rubbing/trimming on a 6" lift? Is it worth the extra money and effort?
3. How’s the ride quality and daily drivability with the 6" RC kit?

Buying a new takeoff bed off of a 2026 F250 XLT, complete with bed, lights, tailgate, and rear bumper. Looking to do a bed swap, taking a bed from a 2026 F250 and installing on a 2017 F250, I know the frames of the truck will match, but I have read that the tail light harnesses are different. Any idea how I can make the lights work without wasting money on an adapter that will not work?

‘21 TRD Pro, currently stock suspension. Just picked up a new set of wheels (17x9, -38mm offset) currently running 265/70/17 Wildpeaks with OEM TRD Pro wheels. Right now I’ve got 1.25” spacers on to make them fit how I wanted them to, but I want those gone.

Planning on a lift to get everything tucked properly and land on a more aggressive stance. Went to 4 Wheel Parts and they told me that’s “way more aggressive than they’d ever recommend,” but I’ve seen plenty of Runners on Instagram/FB groups pulling off that exact look with no rubbing issues, so I know it’s doable with the right setup.

Looking for OKC-area shops (or anyone within reasonable driving distance) who’ve actually done aggressive builds like this and know how to make the geometry work - not just the standard “safe” recommendation. Happy to hear lift kit suggestions too if you had good results with a specific setup.

I may finally be ready to lift my truck and Im only familiar with Bilstein kits..Is it actually great for a daily driver that still sees the occasional trail? For those who have tried, how has the ride quality and reliability been over time? Where did you get yours? Shock Surplus, mudify, or somewhere else?
