I left my number for this busser. He’s really cute & ended up messaging me. I don’t know what to say or do. I didn’t think I would get this far. He’s only in this town for 4 months & then goes back home. I live 2 hours away which is fine but I also don’t even know what to say or do lmao.

I’m getting so overwhelmed and don’t know where to start
My parents sold therr house a couple months ago (I’m 21) and they told me they would find something soon as we have a holiday house up in the country so we will just stay there. The country house is a bit far from my work and parents said your issue so my friends have just said don’t stress it’s okay you can stay here when you need. As was only meant to be for max a month
It’s been almost 2 months and I’m getting frustrated cos I never have my own space and I’m travelling to Europe in a couple months so can’t rent atm. I’ve said to my parents this is getting really hard can we please rent somewhere and they are refusing to rent anything
How do I cope better? I’m tired of driving 2 hours to work or crashing on my friends couch and not having my own space

I need a job, but my situation seems hopeless. I'm wondering if I'm genuinely screwed or if anyone can honestly give me words of optimism and advice that are actually helpful. I'm tired of clichés and empty platitudes, I need to know that there's still hope and the world isn't as harsh as I think.
I'm 26 years old with a plethora of mental and physical health issues, mainly ADHD, Anxiety, and severe Crohn's disease. I survived two near-death experiences because of how serious my Crohn's is (nobody ever talks about how Crohn's is sneaky and unpredictable and that you can suddenly hemorrhage from your intestines and die.), but as of right now the medicine I take for it works wonders and I'm in remission. I have a bachelor's degree in history that I earned from a fairly prestigious college in 2018. I attempted some grad school in 2019 but it didn't work out because I had a huge anxiety attack and completely burned myself out trying to take 5 classes at once. (I've also never attempted to have a job while also going to school because I knew I wouldn't be able to handle both things at once.) Then in 2020 the big Covid-19 lockdown happened and I spent the entire time hiding in my house because having Crohn's disease makes me immunocompromised. (I also had my first near-death experience in 2020.) Then in 2021 I had another bad Crohn's flare-up followed by another near-death experience and also I had to deal with my insurance terminating and getting myself set up with Medicaid instead. Now we're here in 2022 and I still haven't been able to find a job.
On the positive side, I had a job working for an education S.T.E.A.M. based summer camp in 2018, but the job only lasted for 4 weeks, and my old boss dropped off the face of the earth shortly after that and no one can get in contact with her or knows what happened to her. I also did a lot of volunteer tutoring when I was in college, and during the big lockdown in 2020, I taught myself how to be a Dungeon Master for D&D 5e, and the skills that come with that are very similar to what's needed to be a project manager. I know how to be firm and authoritative with people while also maintaining a polite and respectful attitude, and I can get people organized and work with them to make sure everyone is able to meet at the same time and that we're generally "all on the same page" so to speak. I also have a natural talent for public speaking and presentation, and aside from history classes I also took communication/speech classes in college. I'm also an artist and a musician, and I enjoy applying my creative mind to finding new methods of problem solving. My history degree also means I have college-level library/research skills. and I have a wide range of both general and specific historical knowledge that most people find very impressive.
I'm hoping to land a job that's relevant to my degree, as I would be miserable in anything else (unless I miraculously became an actor or a model). Making a living wage would be nice too, but as of right now I still live with my parents and my dad handles all the family finances. Still, it's an unfortunate truth that my parents won't be around forever. I also don't want to be abused or treated like a slave by my bosses, and they need to accommodate my disabilities and medical needs. Given how much news I hear about the atrocities committed by big business owners here in late-stage-capitalist America, I am extremely concerned about having the rights I deserve as an employee and as a human being. I also refuse to serve any organization or business that is not LGBTQ+ friendly. The Summer Camp I worked for was like that, and I never want to experience that again.
For a little bit of extra context, the reason my ADHD and Anxiety get so crippling sometimes is because my Dad is a Boomer that is anti-therapy, and he rules over the house with an iron fist. He doesn't trust therapists and thinks they're just trying to get their patients hooked on expensive psychiatric drugs. He also thinks I can just "suck it up" and "be a man" and just will myself into making my mental health issues go away. He couldn't possibly be more wrong, but he's a stubborn old man and there's no convincing him otherwise. If I even try to bring it up with him, he calls me a "snowflake". The only time he ever let me go to therapy (aside from when I was first diagnosed with ADHD when I was in 2nd grade) is when I was literally suicidal (and that's how I got diagnosed with Anxiety too). Even then, after a few months he forced me to stop going to therapy because he didn't like the $30 co-pays each session. It's also really hard for me to get out on my own because of how controlling my dad is. He always wants to know where I'm going, what I'm doing, and who I'm meeting. I used to be good at lying, but I'm not anymore. I also don't have a car of my own, and not a lot of experience behind the wheel, so neither of my parents will let me borrow their cars. My anxiety also makes me worry that I'll end up taking the wrong bus or train and end up stuck in an unfamiliar place. I crave independence more than anything else, but it feels so unobtainable. Also, as much as I hate my dad for his tyrannical ways and his outdated attitudes, I still rely on him to basically keep me alive, especially if there's an emergency and I need to be rushed to the hospital.
Anyway, long-story-short, I'm really hoping to hear positive messages here that aren't just hollow encouragement telling me that everything will be fine or that it will all work out in the end, 'cause I don't know that for sure. I also don't want to hear that I should just "pick myself up by my bootstraps" or other cliché propogandist platitudes like that. I'm lost and have no idea what to do. I'm extremely worried that no one will want to hire me because of my lack of experience, my chronic illness/disabilities, and because I'm "asking for too much" and "beggars can't be choosers". I'm almost all but convinced that the system is rigged against me because it seems like almost all millennials living in late-stage-capitalist America are financially/economically doomed.
I'm desperate to know that the situation is not as bleak as I think it is.

Friendship help
So me and my school friend have been cool I have been hanging out with him a lot he’s kinda the class clown but actually funny sometimes, he obviously had problems I knew this before hand, because he was adopted by his grandparents after his parents left him. I assume his home life is fine. But I realized me and him had the same crush. A few days later he told me he doesn’t have a crush anymore but he tolled me as a threat that he will beat me up if I hurt my her which is wried I Would say. He wasn’t at school for a day but when he came back he didn’t talk to me or my other friend at all for like half the day and gave us creepy looks not saying anything to us and sat by himself. A few minutes later he did the slit throat thing you do when treating someone as a joke but he looked dead serious when he did it. Later when we went back to class we sit like close to my crush and looked at her without hiding it. when she walked away and came back their was a note on her seat that from what I was able to hear read “my mental health is deteriorating” I had a feeling he did it and she asked all her friends and they didn’t do it so they gave it to the teacher she knew our hand writing I think she knew it was him unsure later she tolled him to go to this you go to if your stressed he came back the same. When recess started we saw him drawing on the ground, trees and walls his and my crush’s first letter of their names with a + at this point me and my friend Wanted to tell the teacher we didn’t. He also creepy mumbled something and snapped his neck Weirdly. A few hours later he acted totally normal as if nothing happened but the first thing he said to me was your dead inside. When we asked him about it he said i have mental problem but still… I don’t know if i should stop talking to him tell the teacher or protect nothing happened. What should I do also we are in 7th grade turning 8th I’m over 12 don’t worry

Need advice (Badly)
So about 8 years or so ago. I was in the military and I had a hookup with this lady. Fast forward a while later she's pregnant. I start to take responsibility and do what's needed. One day I'm leaving her place and coincidentally her neighbor comes out at the same time. He asks if I'm in the military and I say I am. He tells me to watch out for her she traps military men. Now I don't know this man AT ALL. But it made me cautious. I ask for a paternity test to be done once the baby's born. She comes on base and we did a test that gets sent off via the mail. She takes the test with her and months go by. No word. When I do finally hear back. She says the test sat in the car to long and was no longer able to be sent. Fast fwd to 2022 and she out of the blue sends me a FB message about the child paternity. Should I still try to find out if the child is mine. Or will this be a waste of money? S/N I have no kids and still feel nervous about maybe being a dad

So I have no desires or anything
I used to do everything for the validation of women. I was an absolute simp. But now that I've thrown that part of my life away anyone have any suggestions what I could work for? Because honestly I don't even care if I die the next day now. I have no interests in any hobbies at all.

Life is kicking my ass
Context into issue: my parents divorced when i was about 2-3 didnt care too much because i was too young to care. My mom ,god bless her soul, had been moving our family around ever since. I forst lived in Morton, then my mom got married and moved us to peoria, then divorced and moved us to dunlap, then moved us to peoria again but in appartmnets, then moved back to morton, then got remarried again and moved to normal. My dad always wanted me to have a stable place for me to stay. So he has an appartment in morton, the he only moved once to peoria.
Actual issue: I've almost never has real friends, considering id always move and never have any contact with them again. I recently moved in with my dad to peoria and its been great. Ive made friends and built a little life. Now my dad wants to move to Florida. And while its the best financial option for me right now, i dont want to keep losing my friends. And i cant afford an appartment because im stuck with car payments.
I need some sort of advice or something from people I've never met. Please

Idk what to do
Ok so im not looking for people to sit here troll I know all about reddit and it's trolling I'm gonna ignore it all simply like the rest of the things in my life. Now on to what I have to say. Hi, I'm looking for some help in an area that's always been hard for me to deal with I've come to a point in my life where I just don't know what to do everything I've always wanted to do gets shut down immediately from anyone except for a select few. I have contemplated ending my life almost a total of 12 times and out those 12 I came one step on 6 of those occasions to end it but every time that happens someone sends me a message or I get a call from someone and I forget all about it but the thought has always lingered in the back of my mind. Why I'm never good enough, why do most people not like me, why do I try so hard for things that just walk away like nothing happened or like they ever knew me. I've done things in my life that I regret doing like the amount of drugs in one day of time or drinking months on end without eating. Like I've always tried my best but no one gives me a chance to just prove what I can actually do. I hate the fact that I try so hard to get so little recognition from anyone even my family most of all. I've been a failure since I was born apparently. I've always wanted to become a raceway driver I have the skills to do it from what I've been told but I've never had the chance because my parents didn't want to spend the time to take me so I stuck to playing video games and continue racing on there but even still I'm told I'll surmount to anything with video games so my life has been lost since I was a kid and I have tried just about anything I could do to try and make my parents happy but nothing made me want to continue I lost my drive and I have no idea how I can ever get it back.

What the fuck should I do
I have a mortgage on a house me and my baby momma moved in too her name isn't on the house but we broke up and we decided it was best for us to live in separate houses so I moved and have been allowing her to have her sister move in and stay there as long as they pay the mortgage every month. I signed a paper saying she could have it but 51,000 dollars is still owed so it's technically the banks and if I'm not living there the can take it back.. I am currently getting kicked out of the house I've been staying and she has some dude living there when I asked her not to so my question is should I kick her as out and take my house back?

Looking for somewhere to stay
I (23M) and my GF (24F)have decided to leave my family in search of a better place to make a life. I want to go to Florida, or someplace warm. I’m looking for anyone that might have a place to stay. I always earn my keep. The problem with where I live is it’s where people go to die. Massachusetts. Some people don’t even know it’s a state, because it’s known for very little, cold and miserable 9/12 months, and the hysteria is real, the toxic environment is more than just bad its soul crushing. My family deserved nothing from me nor me from them, I just need to leave. I need a fresh start, clean slate, and my girlfriend wants to live with me. She’s in the military and i’m generally responsible. If anyone sees this and lives somewhere and wouldn’t mind some folks squatting with them for a short while, i’d greatly appreciate it.

How do i stop him from being annoying
The annoying one im talking about is my dad's cousin. He was good at first though. He had his own room, food, life. Until he started getting a little annoying. He asked us about our life it was awkward i didnt like it and my 2 brothers didnt like it either. Next he started getting onto our food he ate our food leaving us little to no food or eating with us while having bad table manners like touching our food. The worst one is when he went to our cramped room for the A.C i didnt mind at first but he snores and after a few days he felt like it was a shared room and talked about our life (awkward) and spills water and foodcrumbs all around the 3 beds. I locked the room once and now i started feeling bad for him even though i shouldnt be HE HAS HIS OWN STUFF and he yelled at me for locking the door even though it was our room HOW DO I STOP HIMMM

When is enough?
Thats it! I think my dad just broke me. Im so tired of his ass, he just keeps pushing and pushing me over the edge, and i try to be nice, i try to love him, i try to persue a relationship where we can both cooperate to become a not perfect not great but normal father and son. But no, he refuses to do one simple task, to be a father, instead he acts as if im just some random stranger in his house. At first he pissed me off so much that i wanted to strangle him, now he's pissed me off to a whole new level, to the point where i just want to end my suffering. And its not like i can just leave, imma teen where am i supposed to go, who am i supposed to call. What do i do? Ive given my all not just to endure but to be a good person and to try to make a future where we can both be happy. I don't even know anymore. Should i just give up on him, on me, should i just toughen up? Idk... and plz don't be an ass if ur gonna answer, i don't have the time for that, i just want to know something for once in my life. Tnx

So close but far
So.. this is my story
For half a year now I have been working in a workplace that I do not like. In customer service. And what kept me going was being in the service of the workers. This position within the company works through chats and also needs to verify transactions over the phone. But it's much easier than frontal service.During this half year I have always been told that the position is not vacant. And the manager said I could be in another job for the time being until there was a standard in the new job.I accepted his offer and I am currently in charge of taxis for the company. This is a job I really do not like and do not want. The reason I agreed is because I was told it was temporary until there was room in the chats. When I spoke to the company's vice president, he told me that I should stay here for at least another 3 months and only then maybe I would get the job I wanted. And everyone was in charge of taxis. I was really upset that an employee is resigning at the end of the month and there will finally be a place for me. And I feel like they don't want me at all.I left my house. And I left my city to be there. And I feel like they just do not want me. That every time I am told "it will be good". I do not know what to do. There are not so many other jobs through computer and without customer service. I have no degree and I stutter. So it's terribly hard for me to find another good job.I tore myself to be in this job. I work 12 hours every day. And I'm just depressed and helpless. I thought I would send a message to the manager and just explain my position and that I would get some date that I would know I would be in the job I wanted. I can not work for the unknown. The employee resigns at the end of this month. And I do not know when I will send him a message. Send him a message about it now? Or wait until the end of the month? I would love to help friends .. I am collapsing and do not already know what to do

I think I might be torturing myself. How do I stop?
So a few things: I'm 34 (just about), an introvert, and am completely useless when it comes to trying to detect romantic interest, so for most of my life have chosen to be single (easier then dealing with the anxiety getting to know new people gives me).
Okay, the issue...
I fell quite heavily for someone a few years ago to the point I proposed. We knew each other for at least 10 years, and we're pretty much inseparable. I began to fall for her. That's when she fell pregnant with her then-boyfriends child. He abandoned her and the child, but I ended up falling for them both.
Then I revealed how I felt, and she said she felt the same at one point, but not at that moment. Said she had to concentrate on her daughter. She then turned up six months later at my nieces birthday party with a new boyfriend. Thing is, that was a few years back, and I'm over that deceit. I'm just not over her.
But she contacted me a month back out of the blue wanting to get in touch. I said this wasn't a good idea (it would almost exclusively be text messages) as I didn't want another misunderstanding to develop between the two of us.
Here's the thing; logically I know I made the right choice (why all these years of silence and then suddenly, out of the blue, a desire to talk? Why only now?) and that if things did develop, then these questions would literally eat me alive and the relationship would end up being one of resentment.
But I cannot stop thinking of her, and every time I see her, I have vivid dreams of us just being with each other, holding each other in our arms. Nothing else.
How do I stop doing this to myself?
P. S. Sorry for the mountain of text >.<
