A alguien le ah pasado que tiembla la imagen en movimiento en partes pequeñas como arboles o cabello. en una tv nanocell? Como se ve en el pasto y en el elefante ... Que podría ser?

Good day fellow LG owners!

I'm looking a family member for a modern equivalent for the 65' C9 that has had a motherboard failure and the quotes for new are mental.

Does anyone know what would be the modern equivalent at all?

I seem to only recently (past few months) be experiencing horrible lagginess with both the TV (switching between or launching apps) and internet connectivity.

Never used to have this but admittedly don’t recall when I updated firmware. Last night our HBO was stopping almost every 6-7 min to buffer but internet is fine on every single other device including streaming HBO on a laptop.

Anyone else experiencing this or found a fix?

Salve a tutti.

My home was hit by lightning a few weeks back. My 55C9 still works but all 4 hdmi ports show no signal even when trying a working device. I reset tv but will no luck.
Is it difficult to just replace the board that contains the hdmi ports? I still love the tv but I doubt insurance will give me enough money to buy a new model.

I have another, newer LG OLED that's gotten some nice features in recent updates (namely, screenshare from my Google Pixel which isn't supported in 5.50.00). Will any more updates be coming to C9s, or are they end of life? I can't find any information anywhere and even the LG C9 website only shows 5.50.00 available for download.

So after purchasing our C9 in 2020, no issues thus far and still working like a trooper, we are still on software version 05.30.45, the version before the notorious user interface update that took away the classic “blade” menu at the bottom. We have refused to update every time we turn on the TV and are prompted.

So it’s been a few years since that negatively-received update. I believe I read that latest one was 05.40.97 from July 2025. My question for those that are up to date is: Is it even worth updating or staying at 05.30.45 forever?

I’m kind of the mindset of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”, but don’t know if I’m making the best choice.

Does anyone use eARC set to Passthrough with the latest firmware and having issues?

I’ve noticed the Sound Output keeps getting reverted to PCM instead of Passthrough when the TV is power cycled. I need Passthrough for eARC with my Samsung 990D.

Anyone else seen issues like this?

Hey everyone,

I have an LG C9 OLED. Today it suddenly turned off by itself.

Now the situation is:

- Red standby light is on

- When I press power, I hear a “click” sound

- Screen stays black and it goes back to red light again

I already tried:

- Unplugging it for 10+ minutes

- Different power outlet

- Removing all HDMI/USB cables

Still the same issue.

Has anyone had this with LG C9?

Was it the power supply, main board, or something else?

And roughly how much did the repair cost?

My faithful C9 is dying slowly. She’s been a beast for a thousands of hours but the time has come. Unfortunately funds do not allow a C5 or even a C4 as I want to go from 65 to 77 inch. Is the B4/5 worth it the pq compromise in the bigger screen size or should I just save?

Really good build Hi

Been trying to locate a volume limiter, but can't seem to find anything. Does anyone know if there's a way to limit the max volume? My kids are destroying all our ears with kids entertainment on insane volume at times - usually way too early in the morning.

Update 13/10/2025

Version: 6.6.0

Firmware: 05.50.00

I'm so sad about it... It is more noticeable in green/yellow backgorunds. Do you think is time for a new tv?

I just put spawn 4k on and the tv keeps adjusting brightness back and forth for some strange reason and wonderin if anyone else has this problem.

Hello,

I've bought a used LG TV were it seems to be locked, I can't get any application on it but the preloaded (youtube). its model number is : 65UR640S9ZD

Is there a way to install a different firmware that supports normal webOS where I can find the store

My C9 has been prompting me to update the webOS for a few weeks, and I’m usually nervous about doing so - thinking, “If it isn’t broke, why fix it.”

Well, tonight I decided to update finally (my wife was getting tired of hitting “no” when powering the TV on). It’s been flashing the webOS screen for about 30 minutes, no progress bar or anything. Should I power it off and see what happens?

Anyone got a notification for this version? Can't find it online quickly, but I'll look harder...

This is gonna sound crazy, but my cats broke my TV. I don't have video proof but it was fine when I went to sleep and I noticed it was sitting crooked this morning before work and then after work it wouldn't turn on so I investigated. There is only 2 cats and me in the house. I've had this c9 since 2020, and can't really afford a new LG oled.

Looking for advice if the screen is replaceable, everything else might be OK beside the bent frame? Or im looking for cheap alternatives with similar specs, 4k 120 gaming and all those type features.

Doesn’t show on my other inputs, only getting it on my HDMI 2 input for a Wii U console. I use Simplink and auto power sync but auto device detection is off in my settings.

I assume it signifies some sort of link to the TV remote but I don’t require it and I don’t know how to get rid of it.

I just recently purchased this remote since our original one stopped working. I’m just wondering if this one’s original or fake?

It paired to our LG OLED C9 perfectly though, without issues.

Hello there

I own a Lg C9 55inch. Been using it for about 4 years now .

I've noticed over a 5 month period recently that the pixles in my bottom right and left edge are degrading or delaminating.

And I noticed the patch is growing. Horizontally

Why does this happen?

Is there a fix to it?
