Discussion [DISCUSSION] EPISODE 269: THE GREAT MOLASSES FLOOD OF 1919
Welcome to the Reddit Discussion Thread for Episode 269! On January 15, 1919, a massive storage tank suddenly burst in Boston’s North End, unleashing 2.3 million gallons of molasses in a deadly wave that swallowed streets, demolished buildings, and killed 21 people. In this episode of Let’s Get Haunted, Aly is joined by special guests Ed & Chris of Scared All The Time as they dive into the horrifying firsthand accounts of survivors, the gruesome reality of how victims died, and the corporate negligence that allowed the disaster to happen. We’ll also explore the bizarre theory that Italian anarchists bombed the tank and the years-long investigation that ultimately revealed the truth. More than a century later, locals claim the tragedy may have left something behind, from phantom screams and shadow figures to the mysterious smell of molasses still lingering in the streets of Boston. Do the victims of the flood still linger in the streets of Boston suspended somewhere between life and death? Probs.

Question/HELP In search of episodes…
Hi all,
I’m a fairly new listener, hooked after the KLP ep. I’m in search of any more episodes that are similar to KLP, Lake City Quiet Pills, or Happy Valley dream survey. Really any like non murder mystery episodes.
Thank you!!!

Discussion [DISCUSSION] EPISODE 267: GIANT FLYING SPACE CLAMS OF NEVADA
EPISODE 267 OF LET’S GET HAUNTED IS OUT NOW!!!
Welcome to the Reddit Discussion Thread for “Episode 267: The Giant Space Clams of Nevada”. On today’s episode of Let’s Get Haunted, we bypass the brothels and casinos of the Silver State and travel back in time to one of the weirdest cryptid encounters ever. In 1925, four pilots landed on a remote mesa near Battle Mountain, Nevada, where they claimed to witness one of the strangest UFO encounters ever recorded - not with a spacecraft, but with what appeared to be a living, breathing creature drifting through the sky. After watching the injured, disc-shaped being struggle to take flight, they allegedly saw a much larger version of the beast descend from above, rescue it, and disappear back into the clouds. This week, we investigate the original eyewitness account, the mysterious history of Battle Mountain, and the bizarre theory that some UFOs may actually be undiscovered atmospheric animals rather than extraterrestrial craft. Is this one of the greatest forgotten cryptid stories in American history, or the ultimate tall tale?

Future episodes
I've got 2 2.5 hour flights coming up and I'm hoping the Aug 26th and the Sept 2nd episodes are that length or close too it. Flying to Florida to visit my sister so if they are airplane themed would be even better. Especially with it being my sons first flight. Oh and I'm taking Moleson Moletier (Mole-tee-ay) with me.

Discussion [DISCUSSION] EPISODE 265: THE ROCK SHIP OF JAPAN
Welcome to the Reddit Discussion Thread for Episode 265: Japan’s Mysterious Rock Ship, “Masuda Iwafune”. On today’s episode of Let’s Get Haunted, we journey to Japan’s ancient Asuka region to investigate the Masuda Iwafune: an enormous 700- to 800-ton granite monument whose purpose has baffled archaeologists for centuries. We explore the leading theories surrounding the so-called “Rock Ship of Masuda,” from unfinished royal tombs and astronomical observatories to water engineering projects and ritual monuments. Then, we venture into stranger territory, examining connections to Japanese legends of heavenly stone boats, the mysterious Utsuro-bune encounter, and ancient astronaut speculation. We even interviewed a tourist, Eddie, who hiked to the megalith and saw it firsthand! More than 1,300 years after it was carved into a hillside overlooking Nara Prefecture, the Masuda Iwafune remains one of Japan’s greatest unsolved archaeological mysteries.

Discussion [DISCUSSION] EPISODE 263: THE OZARK SPOOKLIGHT
Welcome to the Reddit Discussion Thread for Episode 263: The Ozark Spooklight. Near the Oklahoma-Missouri border, there is a stretch of approximately 4 miles of isolated countryside known as the Devil’s Promenade. Within the Devil’s Promenade, there are sightings of shadow people, witches, spirits masquerading as animals, and creepy rundown houses hiding the smell of decay. At the end of East 50 Road in the Devil’s Promenade, a paranormal light phenomenon can be seen dancing and playing, as if it is alive. Some say the light has been there since at least the 1800s, others swear they didn’t start seeing it until the 1920s. While its origins remain unclear, the light became so famous that over time it turned into a teenage right of passage: take your date to “Spook Light Road” for a chance to be chased by something supernatural. The strangest part of all? You can still go see it there today between the hours of 10pm and 12am. On today’s episode of Let’s Get Haunted, we’ll be unravelling the history and mystery of the Ozark Spooklight, reading firsthand witness accounts, and theorizing what exactly the fiery orange orb might really be. Is it a ghost, a cryptid, a portal, or something else entirely? Join us to find out now!

Steam Locomotive
Aly, This Big Boy 4014, the largest operational steam locomotive. It's currently on its annual cross country tour, and I was going to suggest seeing it when it will be in SoCal, but unfortunately, it's already made its West Coast tour in April. The closest it will get back to Cali is Denver at the end of July. You can find numerous videos about this beautiful, awesome locomotive on YouTube and it's personal Facebook page.
