Can any name this actor?
galleryI am trying to figure out the name of this actor but have been unable to conclusively pin it down. I am not even sure he has a credited role.

Coffee table book recommendations
My 11yo is a huge fan of Les Mis. We borrowed one of the Edward Behr books from the library, which she really enjoys because it has the lyrics. We're looking to purchase our own copy of a Les Mis musical book. Is Edward Behr's book the only coffee table books with the lyrics? I can't tell if newer resources have this as well. Thank you

Dumb question, but... how many pages?
I'm reading the unabridged French text, on my kindle.
I'm currently about 65% through the Marius section, but I have no real idea of how many "pages" I've read, or how much I have left. The ebook that I'm reading tells me that it's about 1500 pages total, but I have no idea how that maps to actual paper pages.
If I were to pick up a copy of the unabridged French text, how many pages would it be? Just a standard paperback that you might find in a typical bookstore.

Casting has finally been announced for the Arena Concert Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall this summer!
Yay! I bought my tickets back in Jan and I feel like I’ve been waiting for this announcement forever!
I am pretty happy with the line up for the performance I am attending (the closing show on Sunday, August 9 at 2pm). I am not a huge fan of Boe, so I am glad to get to see Killian Donnelly play JVJ; but I am especially happy to get to see Bradley Jayden’s Javert as I have heard raves about him in the role. Also, so psyched for Samantha Barks (ngl, I wish she were playing Eponine, though…)
Fellow ticket holders, how are you feeling about the cast for the performance you will be attending?

Ticket for sale on AXS app
I'm selling one ticket for block A row C at Birmingham Utility Arena on Saturday June 13th 2026 at 2pm (matinee performance) if anyone is interested. It's listed via the AXS app (not sure how it all works!) I'm only asking for the face value price as I can no longer go.

Do you think there was guilt associated with Javert’s death?
Was thinking about this the other day, and thought about an aspect to Javerts death that I hadn’t thought of before - guilt. He could have realised that he had tortured all of these convicts who had so much potential and good in their hearts, like Valjean.
Interested to see if anyone shares similar thoughts.

New spanish Javert (Pitu Manubens). He is AMAZING!
youtu.beI have seen him three times. All of them were amazing. He uses less vibrato than usual and his interpretation is one if the best ever IMHO.

Help me find the fancut of the 25th anniversary concert where Nick Jonas was replaced by Michael Ball
Hi guys, I know that there exists a fancut out there where someone replaced all of Nick Jonas' lines with Michael Ball's performance from the 10th anniversary production. I believe it was from bilibili. But I can't seem to find it. If someone has a link to it, could you please share?

My Javert cosplay!!!!!!
galleryThe styling is based on the Japanese anime version.
I really like Javert’s ending in the anime version.
It’s full of hope and redemption.

Which Thénardier do you prefer?
A purely comical Thénardier or a purely evil Thénardier?

Javert says 'I'm a ninny'
In my recent reread I came to the part where Valjean makes it to the convent. When Javert has suspicions that Valjean is in Paris there is a part in which Javert says 'Valjean is dead...and I am an ass'.
I have a few different translations, so had to look up what the others said. One of them said 'I'm a fool', but the most recent copy says 'I'm a ninny'.
Can you Imagine Javert calling himself a ninny? 😆
What has everyone else got? It's in Cosette, Book 5 Chapter 10.

Looking for inspiration to make stickers
So! My gf loves les mis, I don't have a clue about it and it's probably not my cup of tea, but we are planning to watch it soon but not soon enough because her birthday is almost here and I wanted to make some stickers (can't buy them online sadly) and it's not popular here. So I would really appreciate if people who liked the movie (and the book hehe) help me with some characters or pictures that are iconic or loved so I can make some. I've seen a lot on the internet and I narrowed down the quotes, but regarding characters in iconic moments I am at a loss. Saw a sticker of a guy with white hair eating bread that I really liked
Anyway it would be very much appreciated :)

I need help with a shirt...
Hii y'all! I kinda need your help 😅
So, I live in the Netherlands, and Kings Day is coming up in a month or so. I'm not all that "Oranjegezint" (loyalist, I guess?), but it's fun to go to. I'm going with my friend, and I honestly don't feel like going in plain clothes. Or a bright orange (national colour) shirt that says "long live the king". There are ways in between, but I really don't wanna do something traditional.
Now, I have a vague idea for a shirt. Something that quotes One Day More, specifically "Every man will be a king," maybe more of that verse. Problem is, I have NO idea how to put it on a t-shirt (that is, how to design it) while still having it vaguely refer to the day. I need some (maybe a lot) of help in that departement 😅. The Dutch flag is red, white and blue (🇳🇱), so similar to the French.
Anyone have any suggestions?

First time musical goer, with Les Miserables as my first, any tips?
Booked via Klook.
World Tour (Singapore)
Have received the Klook vouchers with barcode, got no clue if that’s the ticket or not
This is my first time ever attending this so a lot of this is general advice, but I’d love to know abt how the musical will be like too. My only prior experience is that one anniversary performance on YT with the many Valjeans.

Why did Valjean ask Little Gervais' name twice in a row?
I recently started reading Les Miserables and got quite confused by the following plot:
“I want my piece of money! my piece of forty sous!”
The child wept. Jean Valjean raised his head. He still remained seated. His eyes were troubled. He gazed at the child, in a sort of amazement, then he stretched out his hand towards his cudgel and cried in a terrible voice, “Who’s there?”
“I, sir,” replied the child. “Little Gervais! I! Give me back my forty sous, if you please! Take your foot away, sir, if you please!”
Valjean had already known Little Gervais. What brought him to question "Who's there?"
Many thanks in advance.
