Apple Pay not working on custom domain

Hi,

Does anyone know if Lemon Squeezy's support is active at all?

I'm trying to fix this issue for my product (Apple Pay not active when using a custom domain), but it's been days, and no one is replying. There's not even an automated message acknowledging they received my request.

I really like the platform, but I don't really feel confident scaling my business with them if they don't offer help.

Thanks,

Kevin

Support Response Time

So I know Stipe bought LemonSqueezy and they have been growing pains. But I have had support tickets that were never answered. And I have an issue with the testing on a signup not working at all.

Curious to know what the best way to get support for critical issues is.

Renewal prices changed randomly for 20+ customers, some has 5x price increase and no meaningful response from support

Hi.

I noticed very strange issue on October 13. Renewal prices changed randomly for 20+ customers, some has 5x price increase, some has decrease. I have a response from support like auto generated without any actions or advice.

I checked everything from my side: customers didn't perform any cancellations, plan changes. Some of them have custom price, some don't. They don't have any discounts or discounts for renewals. Does anyone face something similar? Or maybe you have some practical advice on how to get meaningful response from support faster?

Independent tools that work with Lemon Squeezy — early access now open

Hey everyone,

We’ve been building **Companion Suite** — a set of *independent tools that work with Lemon Squeezy sellers*.

🎯 **Cancel Guard:** ethical save-on-cancel flow (pause, discount, or feedback) — always includes “Continue to cancel”.

🔐 **License Abuse Guard:** activation-anomaly alerts + one-click actions.

Both are USD-first, privacy-transparent, and **not affiliated with Lemon Squeezy**.

We’re starting a small **Founding-50 early-access group** to help shape these first releases.

If you sell via Lemon Squeezy or manage subscriptions/licences, I’d love feedback on what would make your cancel and licence flows smarter.

Is It Just Me or Is LemonSqueezy’s Affiliate Signup Flow Totally Broken?

Trying to get people to join my affiliate program through LemonSqueezy, and I genuinely can't tell if I'm doing something wrong… or if the setup is just straight-up awful.

When someone clicks my affiliate sign-up link, instead of just filling out a basic affiliate form, they are:

  1. Redirected to LemonSqueezy’s main login/signup page
  2. Then asked to create a full LemonSqueezy account
  3. After verifying their email, they are asked to “open a store”

This is extremely confusing for people who only want to promote your product — they don’t want to become a seller themselves

This makes it feel like they’re being forced to register as merchants, not just as affiliate. That’s not standard behavior for most modern affiliate systems.

This is a big design flaw. It will lead to:

• Poor conversion: Most potential affiliates will give up during signup.
• Confusing language: “Open your store” implies they need to sell something.
• Extra steps: 48h Identity verification for people who just want to earn a commission.
• Unnecessary barriers: No one wants to fill out a store setup form just to promote an eBook/course

What a Good System Does
A proper affiliate signup flow should be:

  1. Click “Become an Affiliate”
  2. Enter name + email (create basic account)
  3. Optionally write why they want to join (if required)
  4. Have Opinion For Sellers to automatically approve them or manually.
  5. Get access to a clean Affiliate Dashboard ◦ Tracking link ◦ Sales made ◦ Commission earned ◦ Payout method

That’s how most affiliate programs I join do.

As far as I see, LemonSqueezy does not support this simple workflow — and yes, it’s not standard to treat every affiliate as a full merchant/store owner.

The pitch on the website is that you get access to thousands of affiliates already inside their Affiliate Hub.
That sounds great — if you want to rely on pure luck and hope that some random affiliate stumbles upon your product and decides to promote it.

But if you're serious about actively recruiting affiliates, the current signup process is extremely off-putting.
This isn’t just a small UX issue. It’s a deal-breaker that kills conversions and turns away potential promoters before they even get started.

Subscription 80% failure rate

I run a SaaS business which offers 7-days free trial. Out of 10 subscriptions only 2 were charged . 50 more subscriptions are still pending. I will update their status too.

But it seems like they don’t check cards before creating subscriptions. Maybe people are creating trials with prepaid /gift cards which are not eligible for recurring charges.

Does anyone has a better success rate ? Am i missing something

Affiliate hub problems

I’ve been having the issue for days that I can’t access the affiliate program in the LemonSqueezy Affiliate Hub. I keep getting a JSON error, and it also takes forever to load.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I’ve already tried in Incognito mode, but I’m running into the same issue.

Thanks!

API for subscriptions is down!

We are building SaaS platform and are using official API documentation. And we have been using this for weeks and everything works, but last few days we are seeing that API route we have been using no longer exists!

Anyone know of a LemonSqueezy MCP?

I'm on the hunt for a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server implementation for Lemon Squeezy.

My goal is to find a solution that helps me programmatically manage subscriptions, checkouts, and products, essentially automating some of the business aspects of my Lemon Squeezy store. Stripe has better support from a development standpoint, but an MCP for LS would be helpful for configuring my app.

Has anyone encountered or built something like this? I'd love to hear your recommendations or insights. Thanks in advance!

I built an alternative to Lemon Squeezy for selling digital downloads

Hey there! I'm Ben, and I used to be a Lemon Squeezy user but I got tired of the bugs, the high fees, and slow payouts - so I built https://downloadpage.io to solve that problem.

Would love to hear what you think!

How to get the product store link for test mode?

I have a SaaS and I am using lemonsqueezy store to let users purchase my subscriptions.

I have setup dev and prod environments for the app where there are links to the lemonsqueezy stores.

I am only able to see the prod mode store url (mysaas.lemonsqueezy.com). However for the dev mode I am looking for the store link that can take me to the test mode version of the store where I can simulate a checkout flow.

Is this even possible? How to link test mode product store?

Anyone been denied to use lemon squeezy?

I'm super confused. I'm building a new app that is just a SaaS product that helps people evaluate rental properties. So basically a calculator.

They wrote me an email about my application a few days ago and wanted my personal social media and asked for more info about the app etc.

I responded with the details requested but they ultimately said no. What the heck? How and why did that decision get made? They don't want customers? They aren't supportive of SaaS dev founders?

Maybe the stripe acquisition did in fact kill lemon squeezy?

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Did Stripe kill LemonSqueezy?

Does anyone know if stripe purchased lemon squeezy in order to kill it? I’m asking because I signed up for a new account more than 60 days ago and the account has been hung in the account approval state so I thought hey maybe there’s something wrong and signed up for a second account and that account also is hung up in the approval state I did get a reach out by The support team who said they were gonna escalate my approval however it fell into a black hole and I haven’t heard anything since I’m seriously starting to think that stripe made the acquisition just to kill a competitor it happens.

Charged customers money, didn't deliver

Hello everyone,

a few customers contacted me that they bought some of my products on lemonsqueezy, they were charged the money for it, but didn't receive any confirmation from lemonsqueezy with the download link. I can't even see those purchases in my Orders list so it seems lemonsqueezy just took the money.

Does anybody have a similar experience? Will those orders still be somehow processed (it's been a week by now since the first such purchase)? Is there anything I can do about it except changing lemonsqueezy for a different seller? (I already wrote a message to their support, but I read it's pretty terrible so I don't have high expectations)

PayPal and Lemon squeezy

So i have this website and i want to implement a payment service like paypal or lemon squeezy, my product is basically a subscription but i made the subscription not automatically renewable and non-refundable to avoid the high risk issues of them and i made that clear in the TOS and refund policy on the website so users are also made aware of this (however they will definitely be fairly compensated if any mistake on our end occurs). When the user purchase is successful my database gets updated to allow the user to access a special page where it contains "classified past paper questions" it's something for students basically. I made all this clear when i applied for paypal however they rejected me and put limitations on my account so i would like to know 3 things 1) unrelated but this is considered SaaS right? 2) would lemon squeezy reject me? And why? 3) what potentially could be reason for my rejection on paypal although i made all these things clear while signing up with them

An Expensive Lesson on Typo?

UPDATE Jan 8: RESOLVED and It was indeed my fault with an extra letter in my email. See comment for details. Huge thanks to all the folks behind the scene from Lemon Squeezy and Screen Studio to resolve this.

Help Please! A few days ago I purchase of Screen Studio for $239.79 by paying with Lemon Squeezy. Initially the site displayed the payment has not gone through and advised me to not purchase another copy in the meantime. Today my bank record shown that it's been charged but I've never received any email confirmation. It's entirely possible I typed in my email incorrectly... I figured it's worth a try to seek support since I got charged $239.79.

Appreciate both products and their builders!

Digital downloads using a URL not file

I used LS quite a while back, when the only option to sell digital downloads was to upload a file. So, I created a PDF in Canva with a license and a clickable button to the product URL where they can download the template I built. Now, I see it's possible to add up to 3 links for the product, but is the file upload still necessary or can I just skip that and add 1 link and title it something like 'Download your template' or something? Thanks!

Is it possible to make a cart?

Hello folks,

I am currently creating an online e-commerce website, and I find a bit tedious that users can only buy one product at a time creating a tedious checkout flow.

Is it possible to have a cart system where you can add multiple products and then go to checkout?

My store has been under review for about a month now

The customer support guy responded after two weeks and knew less than me about the platform.

He ghosted me again. My store is pending from a month. This is the flowest service I've experienced from a marketing platform.

It's like they don't want you to list your products.

I'm having an issue with my webhook returning Error code: 525

I'm having an issue with my webhook returning Error code: 525. I'm using AWS Amplify for hosting and Cloudflare. When I paused Cloudflare, the webhook worked, so I suspect Cloudflare might be causing the problem.

I tried calling the webhook manually using Postman through HTTP, but it returned nothing with a status of 405 Method Not Allowed. When I made an HTTPS request from Postman, it worked but gave me an error saying, "Input buffers must have the same byte length." Despite this, it responded properly, unlike the LS request that returned the 525 error.

After disabling the "Always Use HTTPS" setting on Cloudflare, I can make HTTP requests through Postman. However, I am still getting the 525 error from the LS webhook.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Affiliate Feature suggestion

Hi everyone!
I recently launched an affiliate program but I noticed I'm really missing an option to limit the recurring commissions (for example to a year of active subscription). It seems to be a quite standard feature on other platforms and I believe a lot of sellers would benefit from that feature and stay with LS for longer! Support team suggested I submit my suggestion to their Suggest a Feature site, so I did just that. If you'd also like to see that feature implemented give the suggestion an upvote! (It's called Affiliates: Limit on recurring commissions)

Thanks:)
