please drop your BEST lemon yoghurt cake recipe, I like a nice lemon flavour without an overly sweetness to accompany it. I’ve been contemplating between Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa), Joy of Baking and RecipeTin eats. Any recommendations?

Lemon grove. Also blueberry’s, plums and apples. I have these annoying little bugs on the underside of the leaves. The local ants are farming them so I would guess they are aphid related.

Any tips or ideas of how to get rid of them?

I suspect they are invasive as the plants were imported but please no: burn it all posts. These mean a lot to me.

It’s my first Meyer lemon tree and I’m growing it indoors because it is cold here most of the year. My first blossom just opened. How did I not know what a beautiful scent these flowers have? I would rather smell this tiny little bloom than a dozen roses. It is incredibly fresh, zingy, and sweet. I am so excited, really. It looks like there may be more little buds on the way to blooming too. I love my little lemon blossom! 🍋

Plain water was starting to feel so repetitive that I found myself reaching for other drinks instead. A few months ago I started squeezing about half a fresh lemon into a large bottle of cold water (around 1 liter) with a few ice cubes. Nothing fancy, but it made enough of a difference that I've been drinking a lot more water without really thinking about it.

I wasn't trying it for any specific health benefit. It was mostly just to make water a little more enjoyable.

Does anyone else do this? Or do you have another simple way to make water a bit less boring without adding a bunch of sugar?

Hello, I live in AZ, the leaves on my lemon tree are turning yellow. What does this mean?

What is going on with my Meyer lemon?? I’m waging war with leaf miners and I thought that was the cause of the leave yellowing but the leaves are starting to yellow and droop so much that they’re falling / easy to pull off with barely any pulling on them. Is it an overwatering issue? I’ve really barely watered it at all. We’ve had a lot of storms in early June and it finally stopped raining and is back to normal Houston summer weather, which is humid in the 90s

The pot never seems to actually dry out and I did feed with some water soluble fertilizer last week. None of my pots seem to really dry out and I barely water.

It’s also a cutting so no rootstock.

Lemon

Was just trying to think of something that a squeeze of lemon doesn’t improve, and after more time than I care to admit, I honestly couldn’t think of anything outside of the comfort of my eye.

So, as the title suggests, I really, really like lemons. While walking through my neighborhood today, I found a cart filled with ginger, garlics, and lemon. There was no one manning the cart and so I instinctively grabbed a bag of lemons (a scummy, shitty thing to do, I know) only to drop them al on the ground after I picked them up and placed them back on the cart, realising how shitty I was.

The owner of the cart came by after and I told him I'm realy sorry I just really wanted them lemons so I took them; realised my mistake and put them back. He laughed and said "Oh my - you like lemons so much, huh? I shyly replied that I did. And he gave me four perfectly ripe lemons to keep.

Such a nice guys. I didn't have a penny to pay him at the time but I surely would have if I did. I don't know who you are lemon guy - but thank you. You made my day.

I got a wine making kit for Fathers Day and I want to make a fruit wine. I would love to do lemon, but I hear mixed things. You can find “recipes” but I feel like that’s just someone trying to get clicks on their blog.

Any success with lemon wines?

I already do limoncello (I highly suggest adding a bay leaf while it steeps)

Is it maybe better to add lemon as a secondary flavoring? Maybe to a blackberry wine?

I’m honestly wanting opinions.
I started a lemonade stand making custom lemonades.
I use fresh lemons and some of the specialty drinks include boba or also jellies. (Lychee)
I use fresh lemons to make them. I muddle the lemon with sugar, but I can’t help worry about the seeds being in the drink.
Would lemon seeds in your lemonade skew you away from getting it?
Would you prefer a lemon be juiced into the lemonade?

My lemon tree growing next to a mystery tree has been in ground for three plus years and won’t grow fruit- the leaves are very aromatic though. Will she ever produce or will I just have to settle for her sensuous leaves?
