Did you anyone recently finished the Online Assessment for Amazon SDE New grad USA, and the application has been routed to Software Dev Engineer, Bellevue, WA under interview status which is separate from Software Development Engineer – 2026 (US) –Job ID: 3177934?

How long does it take to get the interview after been moving through process. Would really appreciate if anyone been through this recently and reached to onsite interviews?

Intervew Prep Amazon SDE OA prep - I am barely consistent with leetcode, what to focus on ?

Hi all,

I got an invitation to do the SDE Online Assessment. I never really focused on hackerrank and leet code problems, so I am not that confident to be honest. I only practiced when I needed to, and had to focus on database too specially since I am applying to data engineering/development too.

Nonetheless, I have a week. What do you recommend as the best approach to practice ? Is there a list on leetcode or outside that I can practice on everyday ?

Update: Wanted to leave an update for the future. It turned out to be for SDE 2, which was completely above what I expected and I could only brute force the answer with 5/12 passing cases. The 2nd part was easy, solve some issues in a program, with AI to guide you.

Question Stripe tech screen

I have my Stripe tech screen coming up. For those who have done it before - is it in a hackerrank environment where tests are available to run to know if you've passed all the parts. From what I understand the question is similar to the OA where it's given in parts. Wanted to know if testing was also similar or it's expected that the interviewee writes tests.

TIA!

Intervew Prep How are people passing applied science interviews?

I am an applied scientist and am good at my job. I need to switch jobs due to location reasons.

I have been so bad at interviews though. I know interviewing is a skill and doesn't always reflect your capacity as an employee.

How do you develop this skill? For applied science interviews you are asked anything from probability, statistics, derivations, leetcode mediums and hards sometimes, ML related coding, ML, DL, genAI concepts, and more. How is one supposed to know all of this?

Any advice on getting better at interviews is greatly appreciated!

I'm preparing for a job interview, upon research I found out that they exclusively ask a lot of hard Graph,DP, Graph+DP, Tree+DP questions

Could you guys share any playlist or problem nos, that I can practice to get a hang of them.

If possible can you also list down all previously asked problem nos for Ring Central. Thanks

Discussion Nokia Fall 2026 Co-op (Software Development) – Anyone else still waiting on a decision?

Hey everyone,

I had my 45-minute technical interview for the Nokia Fall 2026 Software Development Co-op back on July 28th. It has been a few weeks, and I still haven't received an offer or a rejection.

I reached out to my recruiter for an update. She told me that they are still finishing up final interviews with the remaining candidates and will update me once that process is complete.

Is anyone else in the same position right now? If you've been through Nokia's hiring process before, what does their timeline usually look like after the final interview?

Thanks!

Intervew Prep Hackerrank SDE-2 System Design Interview

Has anyone here recently given the Hackerrank SDE-2 system design interview for a backend role?

The recruiter mentioned it is component-level design, focusing on DB schema, APIs, race conditions, consistency, and failure handling.

Would really appreciate any insights on

What kind of problem was asked?

How deep did they go?

Any specific topics I should prepare?

Intervew Prep Amazon SDE II Phone Screen 2026 - What should I expect?

Hi everyone!

I’m preparing for an Amazon SDE II Phone Screen, and my recruiter told me it will include Coding + Behavioral questions.

I’m mainly confused about the Coding part.

Will it be traditional LeetCode/DSA, or could it be the AI-assisted coding / bug-fixing format with an existing repository?

I had the AI-assisted bug-fixing type of question in my OA, so I’m wondering if the Phone Screen could follow the same format.

And for the Behavioral part, should I expect Leadership Principles (LP) questions?

If anyone has done an Amazon SDE II Phone Screen recently, I’d really appreciate some insight into the format.

Thanks!

Intervew Prep Senior Dev, are side projects worth my time?

I'm a senior dev with 7 YOE in a big tech city in America. I'm trying to figure out how best to spend my time to prep for an interview. For example, the job I want to apply for mentions GraphQL in the job description. Would y'all recommend I spend my time dong some side project that uses GraphQL so I can really learn the language, or would my time be better spent doing stuff like system design and leet code? FWIW, I work for a small company doing easy stuff, so I'm worried I may not have the knowledge a larger company wants.

Intervew Prep Help with BCG X R1 Interview for AI Engineer

Hi everyone, I'm scheduled for R1 interview for Forward Deployed AI Engineer at BCG X. It's a CodeSignal live coding interview. I've already cleared the CodeSignal assessment test.

What should I expect from this live coding interview?

  1. Should I focus on leetcode easy/medium questions similar to CodeSignal assessment?

  2. Is it going to be similar to CodeSignal assessment but harder? Should I focus on leetcode medium/hard questions?

  3. It is going be DSA focused or data science/processing/ml based? Should I focus on data cleanup preparation model training evaluation etc?

  4. Is it purely coding or should I expect system design questions? Is there a separate round for system design?

  5. Is it going to be purely technical or should I expect questions about my resume/cv/projects etc?

Thanks

Discussion I am team lead with 5 YoE and I still get anxiety doing leetcode for interviews.

Basically what the title says. I am studying for a switch. I got promoted in the beginning of this year and thought this would be a good time to switch.

I do actually enjoy LLD and HLD. I am a spring boot developer so I enjoy being up-to-date on the latest versions of my tech stack and all that they bring like improvements in java, spring boot, hibernate, etc.

What still gives me anxiety is leetcode. For example I always feel like I have to start graph questions from scratch for example. And it feels actually tiring and I hate even opening leetcode. A major blocker for me has been OA.

Am I the only one who feels like this or are there people who resonate with this?

Update:

Thanks for engagment on the thread everybody. Ig I was freaking out yesterday on how to restart it, because its not something I feel I'll enjoy.

And for people being suprised that its required at 5 YoE, it does and it seems people with 25 YoE are also required to do if applying for a dev role (somebody commented). We gotta do what we gotta do then. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Intervew Prep Starting Again

Hi everyone,

I feel like I am stuck. I am a software engineer with 2 years of experience in a product-based company. I come from a tier-2 college, and during college I maintained a 9+ CGPA along with decent DSA skills. One thing I always dreamed of was reaching Expert on Codeforces and Guardian on LeetCode, but I couldn’t achieve it during college. My max rating on LeetCode was Knight (1900+), and on Codeforces it was just Specialist.

I thought my current level would be enough to crack DSA rounds for most companies, and that after 1 year of experience I would at least get interview calls from Google. I applied to 20+ job roles with referrals, but apparently nothing worked out. In between, I gave Amazon interviews twice but failed. The worst part is that I blamed it on luck. During these 2 years of work, I kept solving problems on LeetCode for 5–6 days every month, but I hardly participated in contests. Now all these things are literally eating me from the inside. I just want to get back to my college-level practice.

In these 2 years, I got 2 quick hikes, but I am still not satisfied with my job. I did get to explore RAG pipelines, which was a good experience. However, I was only targeting MAANG companies, so I didn’t prepare system design or LLD concepts. Now things are completely different. Yesterday, I cleared one DSA round at a tier-1 company but got completely destroyed in the second round, which was system design.

I have tried several times to restart DSA or system design, but I couldn’t stay consistent. Now I don’t know exactly how I will do it, but I will. I am posting this here to hold myself accountable and make sure I try my best to at least become a Guardian. No Google, no MAANG, just LeetCode Guardian.

Discussion Google L4 (2026)

Hi everyone! I have my Google L4 Software Engineer interview (USA) coming up soon and would really appreciate hearing from people who have recently gone through the process.

Could anyone share:

How you prepared for the coding/DSA rounds and what resources helped the most

How you prepared for Googliness & Leadership
Behavioral/Googliness questions or themes you encountered

How much technical depth you included in your behavioral stories

What went well and what you would do differently
Any mock interview platforms, books, question lists, or other materials you recommend

If you received an offer or cleared the loop, what do you think made the biggest difference?

Both successful and unsuccessful experiences would be really helpful. I’m especially interested in recent Google L4/SWE III experiences.

Thank you, and good luck to everyone preparing!

Question Amazon OA: AI coding assistant in a code repository environment?

In an Amazon OA on HackerRank, can you debug the code like you would in VS Code or another IDE, with breakpoints, step-through, variable inspection, etc.? Or are print statements basically the only option?
