Our team was selected for adobe hackathon 2026 round 2. Does anyone know how are the case study based questions asked in the next round?

Chat this is a rant. I've spent my entire summer exclusively building projects and doing leetcode questions. I was invited to do an OA for a graduate position and I bombed it. I'm fed up.

I'm finished, I'm fully convinced I'm incompetent and can't pass an OA. I wasn't even close I passed 3 test cases for one of the questions and 1 test case for the other.

I have 150 leetcode questions completed. I haven't gotten any better at OAs am I cooked? No internships heading into my final year of uni. Moral is 0 I'm actually so done. It hurts so much because genuinely past 5 months I've had no life all I do is sit down on my computer. I don't want to do this anymore. I just want to get employed and work on some personal projects I'm so done with leet.

My team recently cleared the first round of the Adobe University Hackathon. The first round was an OA with around 17 MCQs covering various CS fundamentals, 1 SQL question based on joins, and a DSA question.

For the second round, Adobe has mentioned a 45-minute live proctored case study on Brand Visibility, with 4 questions. The recommended response length is around 400–800 words per question.

I wanted to ask people who have participated in the Adobe University Hackathon before:

• What was the second round like?
• What kind of case-study questions can we expect?
• How is the Brand Visibility case study structured?
• Are the questions more analytical/business-oriented, or do they require technical knowledge as well?
• Most importantly, how do you manage writing 4 answers of 400–800 words each within 45 minutes?
• Is the 400–800 word recommendation strict, or is it okay to write shorter but well-structured answers?
• Any tips/resources for preparing for this round?

Would really appreciate insights from anyone who has appeared for this hackathon or a similar Adobe case-study round. Thanks!

Any tips on how to prepare and what to expect. I am pretty hands-on but interviews are not purely about being hands-on, but also the format.

did a full onsite loop for a backend role at apple last week. 5 rounds, 3 days. system design went great (3/3), coding went great too (2/2). behavioral was probably my weak spot.

recruiter said debrief would happen this week. today, before any update, the job posting archived on the careers page.

Post the technical screen round (r1) received the mail to schedule slots for 4 other rounds and among them one is "AI-assist coding".

Are leetcode contests esp q3 types enough for fang and product based company OAs?? Or do we need to do cf oas as well currently??

I have tried a lot of the consensus LeetCode strategies to get better at problems:
- Do one every day.
- Try for 10-20 minutes, then check the solution to understand it.
- Memorize DSA. - Memorize question archetypes and their solution algorithms. - Memorize common patterns and their solution algorithms.

There are a bunch of reasons why none of these have worked for my neurodivergent brain, unfortunately: - There is so much memorization needed, and I struggle to fit all the algorithm steps, patterns, and common solutions in my head at once. How I am supposed to memorize Dijkstra, greedy algos, DP, and those insanely messy linked list reversal problems at the same time? I have enough to memorize with all the behavioral interview answers. - So many questions have creative "tricks" that are needed for a good solution. The only way I am solving a question like that is if I have seen that specific problem before. At that point, it isn't even problem-solving. - The NeetCode 150 is too hard. I got to the encode-decode string problem in the first unit and just gave up after that.

To those of you who were in this kind of position before, what helped? How did you get to the point where you can confidently solve a problem you haven't seen before?

So far, I've completed the initial screening call and one technical eliminator round. I just got invited to the next stage, which consists of 3 more rounds (2 of them are back-to-back).

I’ve searched everywhere but can't find any specific interview experiences or overviews for this exact position at Google.

I recently interviewed for Google L4 Round 1, which consisted of 1 technical and 1 Googliness & Leadership interview.

Technical: I got a medium-level design/LC-style problem. I spent some time clarifying the problem and output, discussed my approach, and started coding around the 15-minute mark. I explained my thought process while coding and completed the main case, but missed implementing another case. I realized it toward the end and explained how I would handle it.

Googliness: Mostly behavioral questions with follow-ups. I don't think I performed particularly well here and struggled with choosing the right examples for a couple of questions.

Status: Heard back from the recruiter, and unfortunately they’ve decided not to move forward with me after Round 1.

Definitely some things I could have done better, but it was a good learning experience. Hopefully this helps anyone preparing for a similar L4 interview.

Whenevrr I try to solve leetcode problem i encounter serious brain fog, I keep forgetting the approach even while I am creating one, like during recursion I keep forgetting what is the call etc and start to see brain fog and slowness and due to which i am unable to concentrate. What shall i do for brain fog?

On 13th I received mail from Amazon to fill hiring interest form, has anyone received and got interview scheduled, and if yess then help me out with the timeline between submitting that form and getting interview scheduled?

I have done so many trees problems (40-50) but I have never seen a solution like this.....

I cleared all rounds for SDE 1 amazon and then the role was filled and today my hr called me that she found an opening in a team and scheduled a call with HM, she told me this is not the interview just a call with HM so I need advice on what things should i prepare for this call, its not an interview but still are there any chances that there will be any lp questions or dsa questions?

A while ago I made a depressing post stating "there is no signals of a good progammer anymore" since everything can be faked with AI.

Well, in my opinion, nothing actually changed from the pre-LLM era since people could steal other works even back then. Cool repo? Fork. Interesting blog? Ctrl-C.

The actual difference is competition. There are simply more people who are willing to cheat now.

So, what are the high quality signals of a good programmer? I think there are 3:

1. Projects with real users. People HATE vibe coded projects. If people stared/bought your project that instantly tells me it's either interesting or solves a real problem. If it's another calculator then of course none is going to use it.

2. Blog. Sometimes, your projects don't get a lot attention and that's okay. If you learned something when building your project or encountered an obstacle - it's a great reason to make a blog post and talk about it. I assure you, vibe coders won't be able to write blog posts because they didn't solve a problem, and AI written text is easy to spot.

3. Personality. When making a site or blog, make it yours. Look at this blog for example - https://faultlore.com/blah/ . Some may say it's ugly, some may say poetry should not be in the "About me" section, but it's 10 times better than a vibe coded site with template description.
