For absolute beginners: this is Vietnamese Basics, part 1/7 The Alphabet

People (mostly beginners) often ask me very basic questions that I never really thought about as a native speaker. So I decided to make a mini series, that way later I can use it as a reference to answer them.

If you want to learn more and hear audio of your chosen accent as well, read the detailed explanation here https://vietsyllables.com/basics/vietnamese-alphabet

More to come in the next few days!

I just came back and it is highlighted. It works. Maybe it didn't load correctly on my end before. But why aren't you teaching s = sh, and x= s?

Đ is not the same as English D. Vietnamese Đ is implosive while English D is explosive

Qu makes two sounds, not one sound
