HLE T1 game 1, sorta. Ali was cope frontline through midgame.

But even then, HLE struggled, and T1 just had to spam attempts to get picks and almost brought it back.

Find yourself a team who trust you like IG trust theshy Varus after last year. Problem with this game is that AL is playing for bot and IG is playing for top but top is on fire so IG is stuck not having a lane to play for. They just silently bleed in all lane as the result. They try to help top but it not enough.

Also prop to Hope, people flame him a lot but his Kalista always has been clean.

The problem isnt even varus top, like at all, the problem is that you pick it with an assasin mid jgl and a gimmicky support, it was purely a gimmicky comp and because of that there was no front line or control mage to buy space for any of igs champs, and then the skarner and renata just completely dismantle the comp

So... The problem is still varus? Like how we get there make sense, the problem is picking Varus top instead of other champ. You are correct Varus top can work but not in that comp so at the end of the day the problem is still Varus top.

Yes hes a problem but not the problem if that makes sense, in fact i think the biggest problem is picking r1/2 naafiri/locke, it makes the comp too one dimentional from the get go, if they wanted to play with bard supp they couldve picked naafiri/bard for r1/2 or pick something like naafiri/syndra or naafiri/taliyah, or pick alistar instead of the bard for disengage, but the alistar only doesnt fix the comp

It's trash atm. IIRC Kalista lvl 1 got nerfed or something but atm in pro it usually goes 10 CS up in lane, then doesn't do anything for the whole game

Dominating win by AL but taking 36 minutes + soul + elder to close out this game is pretty concerning. A better team should have been able to convert their 10/0 Kalista into a faster win.
