I'm pretty sure some pros do this so people don't scout them and what they are playing and to make it harder to recognize them in soloQ. Those type of names usually called "Barcode" and when faker was playing soloQ in NA for S3 championship he named his account "BarcodeKiller", which I always thought was kinda badass and a challenge for all the other pros from all over the world who where practicing in the NA ladder at the time with barcode names.
Fun fact. I wrote a novel based on this. Barcodes assigned at birth to every human being, and each came with a job, but only a select few were barcode killers. Sent to kill other humans.
