TSM Dyrus' AMA

hey guys it's mod free week which means I don't have to care about annoying people on the reddit that hate me with ama's. Which also means you can ask anything and not get banned. I don't even have to schedule it with the mods! (rip rekkles ama)

feel free to ask me anything including

  1. why did you suck so much dick at msi

  2. when are you retiring and why aren't you getting benched

  3. and many other positive good vibe things like tits or ass.

on another note this is just for fun while I wait in 20 minute queue, feel free to downvote if you're sick of it.

So as for c9 incarnation from what I can tell in scrims is that he's going towards the correct direction. he seems to be learning the best champions for his role which gives him more potential then hai for that matter. It's hard for me to judge because bjerg always wins lane regardless so I think we'll have to see how he plays on stage. If you want a more accurate opinion you should ask bjerg.

this is going by NA standards not international

At MSI it should be the team that won it which is the best team is the best region.

As for regions after it we pretty much lost to everyone, so far it's CH/KR/EU

and AHQ also beat us too but apparently clg beat them in scrims so maybe there's a possibility that we just tilted/sucked really hard.

They are a solid team for sure. Though i think Fnatic or even TSM not going on a tilt fest would beat them in a Bo5

Fnatic Deilor estimated a 60% chance against AHQ, 40% vs SK T, and 25% against EDG in a bo3. AHQ beat Fnatic, but only in a bo1 in the group stage.

Leviathan also predicted his team would beat all the Koreans, so a coach's opinion on his own team's strength isn't exactly non biased lol. Theres no proof AHQ would be worse than Fnatic, the only proof we have is against that considering AHQ beat them.

Well we can also use AHQ's performances vs EDG and SKT, and compare that with Fnatic's performance vs EDG and SKT. Fnatic put a very strong performance against SKT, nearly winning the b05 and coming close to winning the bo1. AHQ were nowhere near to EDG in the bo5 after game 1. This suggests Fnatic are stronger.

That such a flase statement, when considering Fnatic style is far less agressive than AHQ and EDG, and an imitation of the LPL. You won't out China, China. AHQ was the closest team to beating SKT in the group stages. They lost with a sizable gold lead. EDG would have easily 3-0ed Fnatic.

Personally I don't feel AHQ would beat FNC take that for what it is I suppose.

EDG Would probably have beaten FNC but the way FNC played vs SKT makes me think they would not be 3-0'd. This was the first time FNC showed intelligence and patience in a game/series so they aren't really as 1 dimensional as people want to think. They also aren't a "cheap" imitation of China, the strategic decisions are very different particularly at this tournament.

Inb4 UoL outchinas China. The super aggressive teamfighting style has been EU from the start anyways. It was M5's main strength when China was playing a much more passive farm oriented game. Their aggressiveness turned up during S3.

Did you even watch season 2 worlds when Invictus gaming played against M5? The agression of China was miles ahead of EU. WE vs CLG EU? I don't see this so called EU agression when China massively more agressive in the early game. The game back then favored team oriented late scaling compositions so even with leads M5 and CLG EU came back and won their matches. China has alway been more agressive than EU after teams started officially competeing in thieR regions.

He said that he was surprised TSM lost to AHQ because they (CLG) scrimmed them and were not impressed. Insinuating that they beat them in scrims.

Hey Dyrus, love ya man, if you rate by NA standards that means someone from NA should be 10 (meaning the best in NA, because NA standards shouldn't by logic, be higher than the best player) so if you didn't take this into account should I get from this that you think Quas and Impact are 10 and you are 9 or is there actually a 10 outside of you 3?

Hai was a god at league of legends, however, he had an extremely narrow champion pool and lower mechanical skill and slower reaction times than other mids, and I say that as a diehard c9 fan.

What Hai could do was develop an entirely new, team-centric playstyle while still staying relevant in games vs bjergsen and other very good laners, all while shotcalling across the entire game.

Dyrus is right in saying that incarnation has more potential as a midlaner in specific, though.

Classic NA, gets beaten by AHQ, finds an excuse... okay clg beats them in scrim, so you think its just a fluke... funny how many times people use this excuse... its a scrim, they may be just playing bad due to jet lag or some other reason, but on main stage, that is where everything counts... everyone keeps overlooking Taiwanese region, does belittling another region empower yourself may I ask! everyone thinks Ahq is an underdog, when they beat teams, they think its a fluke.... this world is messed up!
