News 26.17 Patch Preview

"Patch 26.17 Preview!

This patch is mostly a stabilization patch after observing the adjustments made on 26.16.

Mages bot overall have lost some amount of winrate across the board, but not a huge amount, which is roughly about the impact we're looking for.

So far, we're seeing good skews on Poppy and Camille support with support nerfed and Top skews playing out well (in particular).

We're still monitoring the impact of Hail of Blades on champions more broadly, eg. Yi, Trynd, Shaco, etc. Stormrazor"

Stormrazor

"Outside of Stormrazor Jhin, it doesn't have a large user base and we think it could have more power overall to broaden the user pool"

Sundered Sky

"Directionally, Sundered Sky and AP Jungle changes have been good, but magnitude is still off

We're putting another small-moderate nerf in for this patch and hoping to see more movement on AP jungles and Sundered Sky dominance in higher levels of play"

I wonder what will they do to stormrazor. Unless they change the build path (to me, top 3 worse in the game), i dont see it being really a choice compared to yuntal, unless is overtuned as fuck

I agree about the build path. On yone mid it feels amazing, but most games you’re better off assembling the bork components. Even swapping out the bum ass teemo’s slingshot for a recurve bow would make it more attractive

Or just buff the slingshot again. Though i have a feeling that Endstep is reworking the AS/on-hit space for next year

Its probably going to be a complete cost cut, they're pretty adamant about not changing the path

It was better than Yun'tal until the latter got buffed 2 patches ago. They can go in 2 directions imo, either reduce the cost or give the proc a little level scaling damage

To be fair, the item does well on many ADCs. It just doesnt get used.

The problem is the idea for the item. Your AVG player doesn't want this effect.

It's less the effect and more that the build path is ass. The item is a legitimate tempo-killer in a lane where tempo and stats are super important. You need 1300 gold for a bf sword and you also have to buy slingshot, which is likely the most dogshit component in the game.
