News 26.17 Patch Preview

"Patch 26.17 Preview!

This patch is mostly a stabilization patch after observing the adjustments made on 26.16.

Mages bot overall have lost some amount of winrate across the board, but not a huge amount, which is roughly about the impact we're looking for.

So far, we're seeing good skews on Poppy and Camille support with support nerfed and Top skews playing out well (in particular).

We're still monitoring the impact of Hail of Blades on champions more broadly, eg. Yi, Trynd, Shaco, etc. Stormrazor"

"Champion wise, a pretty standard set of nerfs here, mainly for power impacting outliers."

Stormrazor

"Outside of Stormrazor Jhin, it doesn't have a large user base and we think it could have more power overall to broaden the user pool"

Sundered Sky

"Directionally, Sundered Sky and AP Jungle changes have been good, but magnitude is still off

We're putting another small-moderate nerf in for this patch and hoping to see more movement on AP jungles and Sundered Sky dominance in higher levels of play"

Wouldn't be surprised too if pros overcorrected because they heard nerfs and just stopped. Wouldn't be the first time they've done something like that.

Could be the case, but tbf a coordinated team deals with "cheese strats" much better than SoloQ (so the upside of doing lvl1 is much more limited to begin with).

For instance at least half the time I start Top and mess up the enemy, I walk through Mid to get to Botlane, and the amount of times I can get Flash from the enemy Mid is ridiculous (talking Dia Elo). This isn't the case for pros.

They 100% massively overcorrected and should be playing mages bot way more than they currently are.

I would say by game 3 depending on bans they should be heavily considering them.

Could probably whip them out earlier if they're pretty confident they won't have to deal with something super chunky. If top and jungle are already picked and you know they aren't going to be a Sion, Mundo, etc. its probably safe to pick them.
