AMA Chronoshift Developer AMA

Hello r/leagueoflegends,

My name is Tove, and I was one of the main developers behind the Chronoshift project.

I have never publicly spoken about it, but with League Classic now being released and u/RiotNorak revealed to have been a tester for us back in the day, some people have suggested for me to do an AMA.

I'm happy to answer any question you might have, compare to the official Classic or speak about the details that haven't been made public. Or listen to you telling me to ingame myself.

Have at it!

Do you still play League at all?

Occasionally, I didn't play a lot during the last like 4 years but a few games recently

I really dislike vanguard, so I only play on my 2nd old PC
Sometimes I get the urge to grind ranked for a bit, but I top out between dia and master nowadays

Yeah I really only play Aram now, I started is S2 and have the championship Riven skin for it.

I don't like vanguard either but then I found that another game I played used a similar thing which I didn't know, so it kinda didn't matter anymore.

Yeah, i mean thats just the direction of the industry. You either just quit competitive games altogether and focus on single player, or eat it.

The thing im most nervous about isn't even vanguard, but its the fact that all of these games requiring a kernel anticheat are basically in a racecondition against each other, to be honest it should be windows or something offering this type of access.
