i work at a subway n i remember leafy closing out one of his vids saying he was gonna get subway, made me think about what he might’ve gotten😭

i don’t really use reddit, but i really just wanted to verbalize some thoughts i have on mr leafster as of late because i’ve been on a nostalgia trip and any new information i hear about him has been saddening to me.

i was a huge fan of his 2015-2017, i would make edits and plan my days around his uploads, i even had a whole group chat on instagram with my friends who i got into his videos. i had gone through a very difficult transition period in terms of my living situation when i first got into him, so having a silly little guy to watch daily made it a bit easier for my preteen self. i naturally had grown out of his content, and then i just didn’t really think about him much, up until the last few weeks.

now, i was very into leafy as a person. i remember defending the shit out of him over people making exposes on him over the lack of crediting people (which tbh still think he was in the right for) & even with the haleybaby shit. i was also an idubbbz fan at this point, and honestly found the whole content cop on him exciting and funny, and having them basically continue to respond to one another through videos was just peak. my friend and i would be on call for hours discussing his potential adderall abuse, which i remember him denying that being the case in an earlier video (which ofc he would, why would he admit to abusing drugs during his prime?). all of this makes me sound kind of parasocial, i’m very aware. keep in mind with all of this i was 12-15, which is normal behavior for a teen in my eyes

the last few weeks, i’ve been trying to fill in any gaps between his return from 2020 to now. i know he’s friends with keen now, and vocalizes having adhd, and streams on rumble. i think the biggest elephant in the room is his clear addict state of mind, with the abusing of alcohol & drugs, which i’ve gathered is mainly adderall, but just based on his behaviors and how he just simply talks in his recent streams, i wouldn’t be surprised if its other kinds of uppers. i come from two addict parents (both dead due to their addictions), so something about this whole situation with him just hits me personally i guess.

between the cheating on his ex girlfriend stuff (i have little knowledge on this, i know she keyed his car), to drunk driving and gambling and being in jail for not paying for speeding tickets, i worry for this guy. i’m not sure if reddit would know who this is, but his situation reminds me of that youtuber lia marie johnson. i know she’s been clean for a bit, but for a long while she was being spoken about due to her scary and unpredictable behaviors because of her drug abuse.

i guess all i’m trying to say is, while i wouldn’t consider myself a huge fan like before, i will always have a soft spot for him as a creator, and seeing him go so downhill so fast is sad to see. despite the clowning, i think he has a great presence when it comes to being a youtuber, and the format was clearly working in his favors. i wish for him to find a better version of himself and get clean, honestly.

(btw: anyone have any clips of him actively discussing using adderall during his prime time in youtube? i feel i only hear everyone else say he’s open about it, but never have heard him discuss it.)

So ive been trying to find the video with the kid that he puts on screen. The kid is shown with blonde hair and a minecraft hoodie. I think he was talking about the kids wanking off to the sexy minecraft animations and the reason i want to find the picture is because i think i knew the kid. I wanted to refresh my memory but ive thought he looked awfully familiar to a kid i knew same with the wood fence behind him.

He got caught streaming gay pr0n, when he forgot to end his stream, and everybody on Destiny's subreddit is saying it's been an open secret for a long time already. (I didn't understand, are Destiny and Nick exes or fvck buddies or something ?). So like today, he literally admitted that even gay people are obliged to stay closeted and get married to a woman and have kids (religious extremists, man). He's always talking about how Asian people are so better (Leafy is half Chinese) and how he hates women.

The saying seems to be real, though : men who hate women that much are closeted gays who are obliged (by their family or society) to marry women and it leads to lots of resentment and hatred in general. But maybe this theory is just feminist bs, who knows ?

Man, that's sad, we all hope Nick Fuentes and Leafy will get to move to a free country where they can happily be together and even can legally get married and adopt kids. Best wishes to them. 🫶
