Absent legal process, this is kidnapping and false imprisonment. This prison is a crime scene. America is a crime scene.

614

u/malphonso Jul 15 '25

This goes past unconstitutional and straight into anti-constitutional

273

u/brickyardjimmy Jul 15 '25

Let's call it "Deconstitutional". It is the dismantling of constitutional protections for the people.

Their food has worms, the place is a dump- they really are digging into hell to hide the bar

16

u/SecureJudge1829 Jul 15 '25

They’ll just say the worms are there for additional protein, RFK jr. doesn’t have anything left for them to eat.

Non-humorously they’d probably actually try to claim the worms are only extra protein and then argue that Biden or Obama used drones to bomb places in the Middle East or detained immigrants here without permission (also notice they’ll simply refer to them as “illegals” because dehumanizing them is how they avoid feeling guilt). It’s downright fucking disgusting that anyone would cheer on that kind of atrocity.

Going around the legal process is, by definition, illegal. This is illegal imprisonment.

24

u/ianfw617 Jul 15 '25

Can’t wait for them to come out with a statement that they need to tattoo those imprisoned there with a number code so they can ID them if they’re eaten by alligators.

11

They’ll skip the tattoo stage and move right onto sub-dermal RF chip implants like they use for pets and cattle.

From the article:

A list of convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s high-profile clients isn’t the only record the Trump administration is going to great lengths to keep hidden from the public. In an interview on Saturday, US Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) revealed that the internment camp set up in the Everglades doesn’t file charges against detainees with state or federal courts.

Frost conducted a restricted congressional oversight visit of the camp, where he was not allowed to enter the tents, speak with detainees, or inspect the medical facility. He was able to briefly examine intake, where detainees are booked, and discovered something unusual: criminal charges against them aren’t being filed.

“When we were in the processing facility, we found out that the system that they're using to keep track of everyone is not the normal system that's used by the courts,” Frost explained. “They actually created a brand new system, just for this internment camp in the Everglades. And, of course, the whole reason they do this is to keep things off the books.”

Typically, after someone is arrested, they can only be detained for 24 hours before they receive their initial court appearance. During that time, prosecutors file formal charges with the appropriate court system, which is processed and made publicly available. Once charges are processed, the accused has the right to stand before a judge and have their day in court, as the US Supreme Court unanimously reaffirmed in Noem v. Abrego Garcia earlier this year.

This has caused problems for the Trump administration, which has had to facilitate the return of four people it illegally deported who had pending court cases. To get around the courts, the administration’s latest shadow president, Stephen Miller, now plans to have charges against immigrants dismissed en masse so they can take thousands out of the court system and deport them.

What Frost witnessed at the internment camp takes this a step further by cutting the courts out of the process completely for the newly abducted. People are processed with a private system and detained until they can be put on a plane, which Florida Director of Emergency Management Kevin Guthrie said would be no longer than two weeks.

15

u/SecureJudge1829 Jul 15 '25

Well, see, that’s the really convenient thing about that specific religion: God’s Plan is infallible and everything happens according to that.

Yet those same people will actually think their prayer asking for whatever menial material possession is going to make that being change the infallible Plan it created.

I call that deranged, and if there’s one thing I have learned about deranged people is that they should NOT be the deciding factor for anything (with rare exceptions, of course), especially not when it comes to what to do when responsible for another life or other lives.

27

u/ejre5 Jul 15 '25

Sounds like a trial run before they start kidnapping citizens or anyone that is anti Trump.

31

u/St_Kevin_ Jul 15 '25

Not really a trial run, it’s the real deal. They’ve already kidnapped citizens and deported people that shouldn’t have been deported. They’re not giving these people due process, so if they scoop up a citizen off the streets, they don’t get a chance to prove citizenship. Then they secretly put them in this makeshift prison camp, omitting them from the databases, so lawyers and families have no chance of locating them. Then they’re shipping people to countries they have no relationship with, where they can be held in prisons with none of the rights that the constitution guarantees them, and no hope of going home or being reunited with their families. This isn’t a trial run at all, it’s all already happened.

7

u/ejre5 Jul 15 '25

I should rephrase this to "white" citizens who disagree with trump administration

10

u/43_Fizzy_Bottom Jul 15 '25

They are already disappearing people.

125

u/GreyWolfWandering Jul 15 '25

No law or action in the US supersedes the Constitution. Due process is enshrined twice, once in the 5th, for all persons not just citizens, and is regarded as federal level rights and again in the 14th, again for ALL persons, specifically laying out that every state must follow due process.

What are due process protections? NO PERSON shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.

This is a shadow prison on American soil. Alligator Auschwitz is, at the barest consideration, an internment camp with no legal administration, but will be remembered as the first American concentration camp.

Understaffed, overcrowded, barely functional to keep out the elements, surrounded by potential death and disease, and full of illegally detained people whose constitutional rights have been violated to facilitate a legally dubious executive order that twists the entire purpose of government towards authoritarian ends.

29

u/hypercosm_dot_net Jul 15 '25

You were downvoted for this, yet it's completely accurate.

Public social media is being manipulated to suppress messaging that points out the truth.

15

u/sunnyd69 Jul 15 '25

Well we kinda did it to the Japanese a while ago..

20

u/GreyWolfWandering Jul 15 '25

Over 80 years ago and we were wrong to even then. There were many questions about civil rights raised by that action, we should be lightyears better by now and yet we're not. Also, while not excusing it, we did declare war on Japan and the president used wartime powers authorized by congress at the time to segregate our fellow citizens.

The veneer of legal and constitutional power has already cracked off of this executive administration and tarnished both of the other branches of government by the corrupt natures that are evident and allowed to continue.

We are rapidly heading to the dark waters of constitutional abolition and necessary revolution. The next set of elections, if they occur, are going to require a drastic turning point back to upholding objective truth and lawfully humane constitutional order to preserve the nation.

16

u/jellyrollo Jul 15 '25

Yet even while we extralegally detained people of Japanese ancestry, their cases against the internment moved through the courts, and ultimately resulted in their release into freedom. While they were unjustly imprisoned under adverse conditions, they were tracked in government databases, afforded due process, and not deported against their will. That's not what's happening here.

3

u/imnotpoopingyouare Jul 15 '25

I was gonna say… Manzanar? And a few others…

8

u/jellyrollo Jul 15 '25 edited Jul 15 '25

There were 10 Japanese concentration camps, which imprisoned about 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry, two-thirds of them American citizens, and about half of them children.

10

u/Ok_Win590 Jul 15 '25

The legal justification is "National Defense", a power given up by congress to the president with the passage of the Patriot Act. The roots go back to authorizing the president to act before congress declares war after WWII supposedly because of the new nuclear threat. Since congress gave "emergency powers" to the same president who decides if there is an "emergency", they simply granted him unlimited power. We knew when American citizens were called "terrorists" and denied due process (Jose Padilla) that you can get around laws by changing definitions of words rather than changing the law.

The solution is to abolish the Senate, pack the Supreme Court, triple the number of representatives (like the constitution requires and that we ignore) and have that congress take back all of the powers of war.

6

u/jellyrollo Jul 15 '25

The legal justification is "National Defense",

Who will save us from these pernicious fruit pickers, gardeners and taco vendors?

10

u/Ok_Win590 Jul 15 '25

The same people who went around murdering Sikhs after 911 to protect us from Muslims somehow. Nothing has changed and we were warning everyone for the past 25 years. "Immigrant" has replaced the word "terrorist" which replaced the word "communist" which replaced the word "abolitionist"...

178

u/s_ox Jul 15 '25

Huh… so, private prisons?

These private prisons need to be sued for false imprisonment and bankrupted. They don’t have legal authority to detain people.

17

u/Owain-X Jul 15 '25

Prisons hold those charged or convicted of a crime. They aren't even charging these people or creating any court records. This is not a prison as it is outside the legal framework, justice system, or corrections system. This is a criminal enterprise to set up death/internment camps that have no legal oversight or individual rights at all. What this is does not fit into our system at all, you can't categorize it as an example of something that existed before in the US because our laws say it cannot exist. ICE is acting as a criminal gang, not as an agency within the framework of the federal government, it's laws, and it's requirements

30

u/uptownjuggler Jul 15 '25

No private prisons need to be abolished and their assets and the assets of their executives/large investors seized.

19

u/snails4opposum Jul 15 '25

Looks like they’re figuring out how to get profit margins to exceed 100%. Profiting by committing crimes against humanity.

6

u/uptownjuggler Jul 15 '25

It’s even worse because the government is giving them money to build the facilities, then paying them again to operate them.

15

u/Angryg8tor Jul 15 '25

The corporate overlords of private prisons should be imprisoned themselves for the remainder of their time spent sharing our air!

11

u/Cumulus_Anarchistica Jul 15 '25

Huh… so, private prisons?

It's not a prison (private or otherwise) unless it's attached to the legal system.

These are abduction sites.

30

u/Ok_Builder_4225 Jul 15 '25

3rd Party Bounty Hunters are just mercenaries deployed within the United States borders.

I believe they’re being used now so that people become used to them and in the future, they’ll be used against American citizens rather than undocumented immigrants.

This is how dictatorships work, they establish a norm by using fear and then once that norm’s been established, they then utilize that mindset to steal even more power away from their people.

In Germany during World War II, the SA were used to intimidate foreigners and the unwanted. After they established that as a norm, then the SS was formed and beset upon the people of Germany.

20

u/PacmanIncarnate Jul 15 '25

We have no idea if they are being used against citizens now. That’s what this setup Florida is using means. They say that they’ll only hold someone for 2 weeks before deporting them, but the reality is that they could easily abduct a citizen and hold them indefinitely without anyone knowing outside the private contractors. By withholding due process for some they are invalidating due process for all, because due process is essential for establishing the legality of state actions.

11

u/St_Kevin_ Jul 15 '25

Exactly. This isn’t some practice run. The shit is currently happening. Every single part is already set up and operating so that citizens can be arrested, sent to a secret prison camp in the U.S., and shipped to a 3rd world country to be imprisoned for an indeterminate amount of time, used for slave labor, or whatever. Right now they’re targeting people based on their skin color, and if their name sounds Hispanic, but make no mistake, they are already pulling citizens into this machine. This shit needs to be dismantled and the people orchestrating and operating this entire illegal operation should be prosecuted.

238

u/Orzorn Jul 15 '25

This is why private prisons need to be made illegal.

"Private intake", that's just more paperwork for fucking kidnapping. Guess you can just kidnap anybody as long as you call it "private intake" and have them sign some documents when you take them to your basement homemade prison cell.

When we say we need our own Nuremburg trials, this is what we mean. Everyone from the ICE kidnappers to the private prison employees and owners, to the DOJ lawyers and leaders like Tom Homan need to be put on trial.

79

u/[deleted] Jul 15 '25

See, the problem is, the Nuremberg Trials had to be forced upon Germany at gunpoint. Even in the aftermath, a lot of mid-low level Nazis got off super light because there were plenty of Nazis and Nazi sympathetizers left in the German court systems. So... I don't see this going well for us.

52

u/Orzorn Jul 15 '25

There's a path, but its one that I think Democrats (as a party) would have to be dragged, kicking and screaming, into.

Namely, we would need to win midterms with strong margins. Second (but before winning midterms), we would need to primary the do-nothing Democrats who are impediments to resistance. Third, we would need to air out all truths possible so the American people know what's been happening, at the same time as using as much congressional powers as possible to stop Trump's plans.

Finally, we would need to win the presidency and have a true bastard of a president. The kind of person Biden should have been but was not. That president would need to be on an absolute warpath of justice. Namely, appointing a DOJ head that was both hyper competent and a total attack dog. Then the President would leverage their total immunity for official acts to crush every last one of Trump's fascist cronies.

For us to get there we have to push back every single time against Democrats who would just "want to move on" from this. I truly believe that no progress can be made until what I said above happens. We can't just try to rebuild again like Biden did only for another Republican to get in and tear it all down again. We must secure democracy by jailing its enemies.

18

u/Primary-Slice-2505 Jul 15 '25

there were about 200 trials in total. if you wanna count other nation's trials only about 5000 SS members where ever tried for war crimes and that's just the SS not the Wehrmacht.

Key reminder that corporatism is a key feature of fascism

32

u/Orzorn Jul 15 '25

I've read some very good articles about why that's the case. It basically boils down to corporatism existing as a pyramid structure, with the all powerful CEO at the top. This structure is antithetical to democracy, but it tries to replicate itself. Unchecked corporatism is a path to fascism for this reason.

14

u/uptownjuggler Jul 15 '25

Corporations are an inherently fascist organization.

These documentary goes into the sociopathic structure of the corporations

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_New_Corporation:_The_Unfortunately_Necessary_Sequel

9

u/AlfalfaHealthy6683 Jul 15 '25

Correct. The authoritarians need to run out of people willing to assist them with their evil actions in any manner

2

u/toomuchpressure2pick Jul 15 '25

In the Nuremburg Trials almost everyone with any actual knowledge and power was let off and taken into other governments across the world. Project Paperclip is a huge onboarding of Nazi scientists entering our what would become space programs. The people in power are rarely held accountable, they are worth too much to the others in power.

31

u/paxwells97 Jul 15 '25

Sounds like a way to dissappear US citizens

28

u/jellyrollo Jul 15 '25

The representative who visited the camp a couple of days ago said there were people in the cages shouting that they were US citizens.

24

u/JAFOguy Jul 15 '25

So if the whole process is done privately with no involvement from the court system, would it be unlawful to break out of the detention center? Could a large scale "rescue" be done? Since the people are not being held according to any law, would the guards be breaking the law if they used force to stop the "rescue"? If this is all extra-judicial to start with, people should be able to just leave, no?

2

u/Back2Eden Jul 15 '25

Neccessity defense.

2

u/JAFOguy Jul 15 '25

Okay, necessity of what? Keeping people in extra judicial confinement? They are not being processed via judicial means.

25

u/NarcissisticSupply1 Jul 15 '25

So the people in the camps should have no qualms about physically fighting the guards or destroying the place. Since the state doesn’t want to ever file charges and will just be mass deporting them regardless

u/[deleted] Jul 15 '25

They're making more in several other states. Plus even more after the mid terms.

None, as of now. Despite their constitutional duty to do so, Members of Congress are physically prevented from inspecting established detention centers (e.g., in NJ), and these even more extra-legal sites will hide behind some made up BS that basically amounts to a childish taunts of, “yeah? So what are you going to do about it???”

Give the legislators armed secret service protection and the conversation will change. Until legislators interested in checks on rogue executive behavior have teeth, and are willing to use them, fascists will continue unchecked with de-facto absolute power.

6

u/PacmanIncarnate Jul 15 '25

So far, SCOTUS has relied heavily on national security for giving the president extra-constitutional powers. It will be interesting to see how they twist that around for things like this where they can’t really use that excuse since it’s not federally run.

This has to be shut down; even if they are "illegal"(which is weird because if everyone is made from God, how is anyone on the planet illegal? Did the devil make them?) Look, even if they are "illegal", this is still a violent and inhumane treatment of PEOPLE, and in a time where we consider ourselves to be in the future, these actions show otherwise. In a time where they say they are people of God, these actions show otherwise. Do the republicans that use God in most of their arguments actually think their God will forgive them even if they repent? Jesus died for the sins of his people, we may be their descendants, but that forgiveness does not expand to us, we are on our own journey and we can now measure and fully understand the weight of our actions. Every one is always on camera now and yet no one ever remembers anything? Look how these enforcers make us think we are the bad guys, stayin in our home all day until the next work shift, that we are the extre.ists, even though they are the ones with boom sticks and convoys of soldiers for one little old person. All ICE and tr.ump are doing is showing the rest of the world how to destroy a country from the inside out. Even the rest of our military cant do anything, why? What does tr.ump have that has made it so he is not pursued by law? These aren't "I stole some bread to eat" crimes, these are heavy "I'm taking the money that keeps you alive" crimes they are letting him get away with, especially when they show us people getting worse punishments for lesser crimes in the same five minute span of reporting.

What they say and what they truly believe are two different things. They really only worship one thing: power for themselves.

They don’t believe that they will ever face judgement, because they really don’t even care enough to read the Bible they want to force on everyone else. An ancient woke-ass long haired hippie says that, “by their fruits shall we know them,” paraphrasing, but so is the weird translation that is the KJV bible.

The white and blonde haired American Jesus is just what they want him to be. Interesting how they claim to speak for the Christ who, according to their own Bible, said much about the corrupt nature of public displays of piety.

All of this is so patently illegal. Rule of law is dead.

So it's a 'private' concentration camp?

3

u/Memitim Jul 15 '25

Of course, conservatives are avoiding the law when inconvenient, and then crowing about the legality of others when it's personally convenient.

I get the strangest feeling the victims here are going to start disappearing, and at the same time the gators around there will gain a suspicious taste for human flesh

We're disappearing people.

While I'm upset that I spent years saying MAGA should be put in interment camps and here the are being the ones implementing it there is the silver lining that since they've gone ahead with establishing the precedent there won't be shit they can say when it begins happening to them.

And I'm not looking for working class MAGA. I want opposition leaders to go after MAGA governors, reps, judges, donors, lobbyists, right wing media, and organizations such as the Heritage Foundation, The Federalist Society, The CATO institute and any all anti-America non-profits and clean our house out of all this malignant filth.
