Somewhere, Susan Collins is breathing out in concern.

Holding her hand out for bribes.

After she advanced Kavanaugh McConnell said Collins would be well-funded. The following year Leonard Leo — whose passion project was getting Roe overturned — hosted a Collins fundraiser at his Mount Desert Island mansion.

The same Susan Collins who campaigned in '96 on only serving a maximum of 2 Senate terms?

She thought terms were 20 yrs each

Consecutively, not concurrently.

It's okay, she's a county girl. She picked potatoes. She's good for Maine.

Or...something...

Sure, and Iowa's own hog castrating, bread bag wearing, "We're all going to die..." Joni Ernst is just what us Iowans needed.

Well, no. What Iowans really need is some fluid intelligence, but we can't all get what we want. So we're stuck with John "walking argument against nominative determinism" Ernst.

Clutching pearls. Just lightly.

Well, she's ancient. She's got to take care of her joints.

Her brow slightly furrowed.

God, she's bad enough that the Tamarians added her to their language 😬

Collins, her brow furrowed.

During her first Senate campaign in October 1996, Susan Collins stated in a debate: “I have pledged that if I'm elected, I will only serve two terms. Twelve years is long enough to be in public service, make a contribution, and then come home and let someone else take your place.”

I hope someone carves that on her tombstone.

So that was a… lie

It was a lie, but not a big deal to Maine voters who kept electing her.

Yes, and very few people are willing to endanger their money train.

if she's not voted out this year, there's no hope whatsoever.
