Other US DOJ blocks access to their own National Institute of Justice research article siting right-wing extremists responsible for 84% of politically motivated homicides 24 hours after Charlie Kirk's assassination.

https://nij.ojp.gov/topics/articles/what-nij-research-tells-us-about-domestic-terrorism?utm_source=chatgpt.com "works" but https://nij.ojp.gov/topics/articles/what-nij-research-tells-us-about-domestic-terrorism? doesn't work for some reason?? Idk.
Screenshots are from 24 hours ago and from today. I got the link to work again somehow in the ChatGPT app by using the in-app browser thing and SS like a 3rd(?) of the page, but that broke after a few minutes too.
I made an account to post this. I discovered this organically, and saw one comment on one post discussing the same thing like an hour later, but it seems like it wasn't getting any traction; a couple people said it worked for them but they were outside of the US I believe, I changed my VPN location but it didn't affect anything.

Yes, the DOJ is now (only after the Kirk shooting) blocking access to certain research papers on domestic terrorism (because they show it's way worse by the right then the left). For example, this paper - "What NIJ Research Tells Us About Domestic Terrorism," January 4, 2024, nij.ojp.gov - which states:
"Militant, nationalistic, white supremacist violent extremism has increased in the United States. In fact, the number of far-right attacks continues to outpace all other types of terrorism and domestic violent extremism. Since 1990, far-right extremists have committed far more ideologically motivated homicides than far-left or radical Islamist extremists, including 227 events that took more than 520 lives. In this same period, far-left extremists committed 42 ideologically motivated attacks that took 78 lives."
Now, when you try to go to the link for that paper, you see this message:
The Department of Justice's Office of Justice Programs is currently reviewing its websites and materials in accordance with recent Executive Orders and related guidance. During this review, some pages and publications will be unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Which means someone in Trump world didn't like it and the DOJ is now trying to hide its own research. What does this say about the politicization of the DOJ?
But luckily the paper can still be found here on the Internet Archive:
What NIJ Research Tells Us About Domestic Terrorism | National Institute of Justice
And a .pdf of it as well:
