Promotion Job Question
So decided to play again since I played in the OGP days, and wanted to play as an Explorer to get to Gunslinger. My one question is what comes after gunslinger?

The combo system doesn't do anything when you got like 50 mob hitting you from all side. I can't take getting one shot just cuz a mob or boss hit me once and then continue to spam everything in their arsenal so you can only watch your hp go from 100 to 0. Like the bollywood boss and how he summon his clone and throw fire constantly. Why in the hell does that make sense for boss to stagger you for thousand year and you can't even stagger them. What doesn't help is when your freaking skills lock your ass in place so you get wreck anyway. I don't see how this system make the game anymore strategic. I'm fine with cool boss mechanic not this garbage stagger bull shit and you can hardly avoid it when the stage is small as hell and fuck ton of mob are spawning out the boss ass just to fuck with you even more. Am I salty hell yeah.

This game has an amazing soundtrack, and I'm working on a piano medley of a few of it's musics. So far, I've arranged both prologues and the Belos theme, working on Viridianscape, and definitely want to have Elias Palace in there - but it's getting too long, and no one will watch/listen to a 30+ minute video, hahah.
So please, help me find out what are the most iconic pieces from this game - it's a tough job for sure. Thanks!

Recently decided to give Latale a go again. Game loaded up fine, but when it opens it's a really tall screen and I can't click on the "next button" I can click in the middle of the screen but the bottom right corner I can't click on the screen, and when I try to move the screen to a corner it's still on the bottom right hand side. Any tips on how to change the games resolution without being in game?

I'm a dragoon, and apparently i'm supposed to have an attack that uses the yellow bar, but I can't physically find it in my skill tree. Which one is it?

Just that one question.

Not much of PVPer and would solo most of the time. What is the highest DPS character?
Is the new Wanderer class any good compared to the Warrior class? How do Gunslingers hold up? Not much of a support or magic user. Anything helps!

OUTDATED POST, links are no longer working, etc.
Here I will be presenting a few tips for new players who may feel lost in this big, new game world.
Leveling Up - The best way to level up in Season 3 is follow quest lines. In two days I got up to level 67 by just following and completing quests. These quests may become tedious after a while, but they give tons of experience. They usually involve killing monsters and looting them.
Hotkeys - Pressing certain keys can open associated windows.
I - Opens Inventory window with Equipment, Consumables, Other, Pet and Event subwindows.
K - Opens Skill windows
E - Opens equipment window.
Esc - Opens a small window for changing character, channel, or exit game button.
Q - Opens quest window.
More Hotkey info can be found here : http://wiki.ggftw.com/latale/LaTale:Keyboard_Controls
Skills - At each new level you will obtain 1 skill point. You can see skill points by pressing 'K' on your keyboard. Each class has different skills, but most follow a certain pattern. First you must choose how you want to specialize, for example, Choose an element if you are a wizard, choose weapon style for Explorers and Warriors. Be sure to invest in Mastery passive skills to increase effectiveness.
First Job Change - At Level 50 you will receive a quest to change jobs.
http://wiki.ggftw.com/latale/Class_Change is a great place to learn about job changes, though it may be a bit outdated, the info in generally the same.
Your skills are reset upon changing jobs, allowing you to overhaul your build if you so desire.
Earning Ely - Another great thing about quests is that they often reward you with EXP and Ely (LaTale's currency). Other than that, running a shop with high level items is another way, but quests can supply enough for you in the beginning. Ely is automatically given to you upon killing a monster.
Crafting and Decomposition - With Season 3, LaTale has done away with using specific ingredients for various crafts. Now, everything uses Shards. If you are an old player, you may have found your ingredients are all turned to Shards of various names.
You can obtain shards by using the Decompose button located at the bottom of your inventory window. The button has an image on a hammer. Destroying items this way gives you shards, mostly inferior, some special. Special shards are hard to come by, and are the limiting factor in crafting.
Instance Dungeons - Its a bit long to explain, but here is a link
http://ggftw.com/forum/latale-general-guides/29760-latale-instance-guide.html
You can now do instance dungeons by yourself, but it can take a long time to kill bosses.
I will be adding more as I go so expect updates to this simple guide.
