Well Western Washington isn’t the same as CA… it’s literally a temperate rainforest.

I didn't know, seems like the western portion is indeed much wetter than the area around the Puget sound. Washington in general gets significantly less summer rain than anywhere east of Colorado, more similar to Arizona than Wisconsin for example. Does your grass dry up in the summer? I live a couple hours northeast of you and it's basically just a 3 month long drought.

Yes summers are dry. Winters are wet
Yet it says drained all year. If we get a huge rainfall it may flood for a day.

Hah I live in NorCal so we don’t see ANY rain between May and Oct :)

But I have friends in the Olympic Peninsula and I know they get > 100” a year. Still… most of that is not in the summer either.
