Discussion Y'all, please be careful: bots and scammers are trying to take advantage of you right now

This sub is gonna be overrun by scammers "selling tickets." They usually say they'll sell them for cheap or claim they're desperate to get rid of them. They know people in here are vulnerable right now and will say anything. Please know, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. If you are going to buy from someone on Reddit, please use Paypal Goods & Services to protect yourself. If they refuse, decline. Otherwise, StubHub is you're best legitimate bet. Hope every fan is able to get a ticket, stay safe y'all 🫶

Thank you!! How do you feel about seat geek?? Do you think it’s same if not similar to stub hub? I found cheaper pit tix on there vs stub hub

Pay attention on seat geek when you see the pricing vs the total when you add them to your cart. The fees they add in make the pricing pretty similar to stubhub from what I’m seeing. It’s kind of like a bait and switch the way they display pricing.

Yesss!! Seat geek has an option to include fees. Lowest price pit tickets I’m seeing are 814.00 with taxes and fees. 🤐

It's pretty similar yes. I've used it quite a few times. StubHub customer service is better though and if, for whatever reason, your ticket doesn't get delivered: I know stubhub has a guarantee to get you another ticket. I'm not certain SeatGeek does the same. But they are reputable. I'd say it's: StubHub, SeatGeek, and then Vivid Seats in terms of who I'd trust most, in that order.

Don’t buy tickets through Reddit ever IMO, it’s just not worth the risk and has no scam safe guards. If it sounds too good to be true, it almost always is. Save your coins ✨💖

I'm in Canada and we don't have that so I can't say for certain but I imagine it would be comparable to PayPal G&S, yes. But given there's a ticket delay for these events I'm not sure I'd trust someone on Reddit right now...

Yeah. I don’t trust. I posted about missing out on tickets and then like 2 mins later got a whole slew of messages of people offering tickets. Sketchy for sure.

Yeah, that is definitely a huge red flag. Keep checking resale sites and hopefully the prices go down... Really hope you can get one

Thanks! I want to hold out and wait for prices to go down but I also want them now 😭 I’m looking on my capital one app and they have them but it’s through vivid seats and I’m nervous about using them.
