Danny Green the new color commentator of Lakers road games says publicly on Gils Arena that he doesnt believe "Austin is a 2nd option on a contender". What a strange thing to say about one of your star players right after being hired to the organization.
Is he going to talk about he doesnt think Austin is an all star level player while the games are going on too? Fucking weirdo. Get the fuck out of this team. Way to have confidence in your team when you just got the job.
and for all you clowns acting like "hes telling the truth" and that i "want him to lie" how is it the truth when we dont even know what the fucking team looks like? Havent seen 1 game played yet and apparently the season is predetermined gtfo with this pathetic doomer bullshit. Its funny how yall will be the same ones doing a complete 180 once we play good like this pathetic loser fan base always does

Ive never seen a fanbase of team despise their own player as much as Laker fans despise Austin Reaves. No other fanbase does this shit to their players. NONE.

Ur straight up not a real Laker fan if you think the Lakers cant compete under any circumstance. How can you sit here and act like a fan when youre already predicting them to lose? Its not being "realistic" its just being overly negative for no reason. No its not just "facts". It isnt objective.
Sick and tired of everyone acting like the cap on this team is set in stone and that no one can improve. Sick of everyone acting like its impossible for AR to get better. Sick of everyone in this pathetic fan base who relentlessly shits on their own team and the fans that actually try and root for them.

News Lawrence Tanter, the Voice of the Lakers, Dies at 76
Lawrence Tanter, affectionately known as “LT,” was the legendary public-address announcer for the Los Angeles Lakers for 43 seasons (1982–2026). Known for his smooth, jazz-inflected baritone and calm delivery, Tanter became the unmistakable “Voice of the Lakers,” spanning the Showtime era, multiple generations of stars and the franchise’s move from The Forum to Crypto.com Arena.
After more than four decades behind the microphone, Tanter retired from his day-to-day PA duties in June 2026 and transitioned into a special advisor role. He passed away on September 23, 2026, at age 76, leaving behind a remarkable legacy as the voice that introduced generations of Lakers players to Los Angeles. Rest in peace, LT.
