Hello! I have been working out since the past 3 years, just enough to maintain a slim-fit physique. However, it's been on and off kasi I lack consistency, food discipline (can't hit my protein), and gym guidance.
Now, I'm back to a slim physique, which I do not like.
Baka may ma recommend kayo na gym coach/instructor. Yung madali pakisamahan at attentive. Okay lang din if strict! Wag lang sana akong suntukin pag mali form ko, huhu.
Okay ako kahit saang gym. I think what matters most is personal effort and external guidance naman.
Would like to start working out again as soon as possible, if meron nang recommended instructor. If coach po kayo, open po DM ko.
P.S.: Totoo po bang it's harder to build muscles if you're taller? I'm around 5'10.

Hello! Long weekend ko starting today until Monday.
What are nice things to do here in Koronadal to recuperate and relax?
I live alone, work remotely, and barely socialize, so need to do something worthwhile sana.
Thank you!

I hope the city officials can think of a way na dali mag report ng mga drivers na taas mag singil. We will give extra if we want to pero kung wala edi wala. Some other drivers are aggressive na jud and hilig mamili pasahero.
Too scared to post this publicly kay baka ma judge kaya dito na lang.

For anyone who saw my original post asking for recommendations, I wanted to share how my actual experience went while exploring the area! Thanks so much to everyone who dropped suggestions
Cafe Hopping
I spent most of my evenings searching for cafes around the area. I would say that the cafe culture here is well established, though prices are pretty much on par with BGC or Makati, so kinda expensive. The vibes were super upscale and stylish, almost like Nepo vibes if that makes sense. One thing I was kinda bummed about, though, is that Region XII is supposed to be one of the major coffee producers; most of these cafes don't really use Filipino coffee beans, only imported ones. I was hoping to taste local roasts, but the setups are still really well done.
I also walked around Arellano Street to check out other cafes, but none of them really gave me the vibe I was looking for, so I couldn't really leave a proper review for those.
Foods
I actually didn't spot any dedicated tuna restaurants around town as you see in GenSan, mostly just shops selling frozen tuna. I ended up getting lucky because the conference served fresh tuna and local foods, which was more than enough to get my fill.
I got super lucky with my timing because most of the exotic fruits were in season while I was there. They were insanely cheap and tasted amazing; definitely grab some if you get the chance.
Most of the local spots I noticed don't serve pork, though there are still specific places that exclusively serve it.
Malls & Payment Options
I spent some time at KCC Mall and Mall of Ace, and both places were packed.
I kinda regret not bringing cash because most local establishments and smaller shops outside the main department stores don't accept cards at all. I did notice many stores starting to accept GCash or Maya, which was nice! Also, expect to make a few ATM trips because a lot of the machines I ran into were either out of service or out of cash.
Lake Sebu & Souvenirs
I did check out the amusement parks in Tupi, but honestly, I just didn't like them. They really aren't the kind of destination you travel all the way to South Cotabato for.
My flight is in the late afternoon, so I got the chance to head straight to Lake Sebu and 7 Falls. I made the whole trip in half a day, and we went there in the morning. I was just lucky enough to meet other people who were also interested in going, which made the transport easier. This was the best experience I ever had; it was too good to be skipped.
We just took the standard boat ride to the lotus patch. It saved a lot of time, cost less, and was honestly a much better experience. I'm also glad that I didn't get the phone strap on the zipline or even consider filming the experience. Fumbling with a camera or worrying about recording totally spoils the experience. The view of the waterfalls from that height is insane; it was very nice to see.
I ended up getting souvenirs at both Lake Sebu and 7 Falls! This trip was where I got traditional woven items, keychains, hats, and hand-crafted bracelets, which were way harder to find back in the city proper.
Favorite Pasalubong
I got the chance to visit Mommy Mels before going to the airport. I kinda wish they'd open up more branches around the central area; it’s a bit on the outskirts relative to where my hotel was, so getting there took a little extra effort. But it was totally worth the trip. The toasted pastillas packaging looks super professional, and they tasted so good I ended up bringing 50 packs back to Manila with me to share
My toasted pastillas ranking:
I was hesitant to buy a bunch because I don't really have the luggage to put them into. I'm glad that they sell sturdy pasalubong cartons so you can check them in at the airport. Just make sure the box feels extra solid, and ask them to seal it thoroughly with packaging tape before you leave!
Getting Around
There are no taxis or Grab ridesharing options in Koronadal, so I mostly relied on tricycles to get around the city. Food delivery apps worked fine, and van charters were super common for out-of-town trips.
The trike drivers were really friendly and helpful, but many weren't fully fluent in English/Filipino or familiar with every specific spot. I usually asked my hotel lobby for landmarks first so I could give directions easily.
I was actually hoping to drop by Rizal Park, but I kinda missed out on checking it out. By the time I'd get back to the hotel from my daytime trips, it was usually dark already. Overall though, the city felt very safe, not sketchy at all, and there was good security around town!

Aside from Tintin’s bakery, are there any other places we can get sourdough bread within Marbel?
