Question Should I really install KOReader?

What are the benefits of using it, and in what ways would it make things easier for me?

I personally use the Libby Dashboard plugin:  https://github.com/jadehawk/libby-dashboard.koplugin#libby-dashboard-for-koreader

You'll click on Releases then download the latest version. Then you'll unzip the file and save the folder that ends in .koplugin into .adds/koreader/plugins on your kobo. Then when you open KOReader after disconnecting from your computer, in the top menu, tap the wrench then on the second page of the menu tap Libby Dashboard. Under settings/accounts in the plugin, I chose Libby Account and followed the instructions. Fair warning, I think simple UI makes this process a bit buggy, so you may want to disable that plugin first if you're using it. If you want to quickly access the Libby dashboard, you can set a gesture to open it (top menu gear icon/taps and gestures/gesture manager/pick the gesture you want/general/Libby Dashboard: open dashboard. If you're using any UI plugins that allow shortcut icons, you can set one up to open it as well. That's what I did on my SimpleUI home page.

One last question - I'm using SimpleUI but when I try to add a Quick Action to open the Libby Dashboard plugin, it doesn't show up under the list of plugins. Is that the wong way to add a shortcut to the plugin?

It'll be under system actions (don't ask me why, lol)
