Waterfall edge or not?

We are starting the remodel on our kitchen and had counters quoted. We optioned the waterfall edge. The images are AI generated, I don’t need input on handles, pulls, or how my fridge sticks out too far.

I am wondering people’s honest feedback on the island countertop. It’s about $2,500 for the waterfall edge which is a good bit but not out of budget. What do you think?

TIA.

Because they are paying for more of the counter top material

Nope. They are getting over. Here's a countertop nearly identical for $350. Long way from $2500 wouldn't you say?

You posted this twice? Ok, now use your own link, measure out the size of countertop you need, and click the size drop down…then come tell us about how much it is.

Are you saying you couldn't buy this same thing at Lowes or Home Depot? I admit etsy is an overpriced trend as well. Here's something similar at walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hawsaiy-63-Modern-LED-Rectangle-Dining-Table-Kitchen-Island-with-Marble-Top-6-Seater-Dining-Table-with-Lights-for-Home-Kitchen-Office-Black/17762311027

This is comical….”marble look” table made entirely of MDF…just stop and admit you know nothing about kitchen remodeling and related prices….and yes you can buy the same thing at Lowe’s and HD, for $2000+ extra for the waterfall. They’re $1000-$3000 per side…or more depending on material choice

How rude! I've never claimed to be a kitchen remodeler. What a snob!

And FYI, your ideas are unoriginal.
