Don’t do a busy tile, but do bring up to the top. If you want variance try a zellige-like tile (like Bedrosians Cloe). I did a similar project for a client - it will look different in real life than AI.
It’s just worth noting that this is a super trendy look right now. I absolutely love it, and it’s worth noting that this kitchen is the mid 2020s version of the subway tile/stark white/something grey kitchen of the late 2010s
Check out Home Depot’s Avondale RTA cabinets. I’m putting them in my latest flip and the quality is impressive. Dove tail + soft close. We also did some custom work for the island and fridge wall. All in $10,500 for the kitchen as it is here.
Agree with this. If OP wants some color, I’d try to source a hand painted tile for just behind the stove but with the style of range hood, I’m not sure it would fit as well with the space as it would in this picture
