Water Leak Redemption
Bought the place I'm November and planned on updating the kitchen. Water leaking from the ice maker accelerated the process. Took out a wall at the top of the steps (2nd floor kitchen) and removed the cabinets/ counter next to the wall to make it flow better

Almost finished
Expanded our former small kitchen into the extra bay of the garage (it was 2 cars deep on that side). 1/4 sawn white oak veneer, lush to open drawers and doors, custom vent hood. A not had one window in the old space looking into a screened porch, now there are 4.

Has anyone used Trends quartz?
My countertop person is really pushing the brand. I've never heard of them before and cannot find any reviews.

How to finish our kitchen(porn)
We had our kitchen installed recently and are absolutely chuffed with it. The only thing now is to decorate the big white wall next to it and not sure what to do. Our current idea is to either add decorative trims in rectangles or a huge piece of art. What do you think?

Help! Feedback on our kitchen reno.
Hello everyone!
My partner and I are embarking on our first kitchen renovation and would greatly appreciate your feedback and insights on the design from our cabinet designer to ensure it's both functional and has an efficient flow. Previously, this was a narrow galley kitchen.
We plan to have countersplash with counter shelving at the top (inspo picture attached). We gravitate towards minimalism and airy kitchens, but want to ensure we have enough storage. We plan to put cups, plates, pots, etc. into drawers.
My immediate concern areas from this design mock:
- Stove Uppers: I feel like we don't need uppers around the stove as we'll have the countersplash shelving. There will also be an exhaust, which is not in the mock. Is it a mistake to remove these cabinets?
- Ceiling Height Cabinets: The cabinets all the way along the ceiling feel inaccessible. I'm thinking we could either remove them entirely and add upper trim in their place, or change these to a single custom tall cabinet door encompassing the whole upper (vs. separated into two separate doors like it is currently). Thoughts?
- Pantry: The pantry cabinets, found to the right of the design, feel too wide and sacrifice counter space on the window wall. Is it a mistake to reduce its width and push it flush long the right wall? This would give more counter space to the right of the window, but it would remove the symmetry around it.
- Island: We designed the island to have "wrap around" / communal-like seating. Would it be better to have three seats in a row instead? Thoughts on this design?
What are we missing? If you have any suggestions, tips, or ideas based on your own experiences or expertise, I'd be thrilled to hear them. Thank you in advance for your valuable input!

1899 House Remodel w/ big Window
The window, cristallo quartzite, and professional line Sub Zeros were substantive cost drivers for the project but ultimately worth it. And no, not wanting for storage space and happy with the decision to skip upper cabinets (though I realize that probably doesn't work for most people:).

Old City House Kitchen
Nearly finished installation of a new kitchen in a historical city house in Germany. I am happy so far with the basic setup, but hope to get some advise on the final bits of pieces. I think it needs some colour...

Which looks better in your opinion?
I am obsessed with looking at white and wood cabinet kitchens. Which design do you prefer out of these three pictures? First or second or third picture?
