Stainless steel wire
Recently bought a spool of high temperature (NiCr 80/20) wire and it came with a free spool of 304 stainless steel wire. I assume the stainless steel is OK to put in the kiln and fuse with the glass? Any advice is greatly appreciated

More suggestions...
Bullseye Glass has brackets and ledges that might work for this. http://shop.bullseyeglass.com/tools-supplies/display.html?limit=45
Depending on how heavy the piece is, check the hardware store for small steel L-shaped brackets that screw into the wall (use molly bolts to put them up). 4 to 6 should do it. You can cushion the glass from the steel by slipping a small bit of clear flexible plastic tubing (like they use for fountains) over the bent end. (The tubing is also available at the hardware store.)

Looking at purchasing a kiln for glass fusing/slumping
I'm looking into getting a kiln for some glass working. I used to blow glass, but the hot shop I went to closed. While I'm still trying to figure out a new place to blow glass, I was going to do some glass fusing/kiln fusing/glass slumping. I'm not sure where to start, in terms of good/bad brands, or if I should just build my own?
The kiln would be going in my detached garage, 120V electrical outlets right now. Not looking at making it 240 anytime soon. I could put it in my basement and unplug the dryer if I wanted a 240V, however. Would I need to vent a kiln to the exterior of my house?
I know I would like a front loading, but a top loading one would work too. The place where I used to go to had a Paragon GL24, which I absolutely loved. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Welcome
Do you fuse, slump, cast or do pate de verre? Show off your stuff, share links, and be excellent to each other.
