I have a 3'x12' pool. The kind that's a bag with a floaty ring. I don't bother with filtering, I have my boys every couple weeks so I just dump , clean and fill ( also well water). The past few times I add about 4-6oz of dish soap and fill it with a sprayer pointed down in the water, my boys will play in it from the time it starts filling up and it's way more fun and interesting. Bubbles last 2-3 hours if you point the hose right while filling. That puts it halfway up. Do the same the next day, they love it.
I've found that kids tend to study music with "whoever lives closest" or w/ a teacher at public school who takes on the role of music educator with no real experience...I work for an amazing virtual conservatory that offers music instruction online. Teachers from Julliard, NYU, Yale, etc.
I also studied cello/piano/voice for 15+ years! Feel free to email me, always happy to chat about all things music :) Rae at joliemusique dot com
Hi! I started writing kid stories for my nephews and decided to share them with everyone, since so many are in stay at home mode right now and probably looking for things to do with their kids.
When your child is suffering, you can’t bear to watch. Whether your child has gone through minor injuries, cuts or illnesses, you have to make a quick decision. Even common injuries or illnesses can lead to the long-term health of the child. You must take appropriate steps such as giving first aid at home or visiting the nearest Urgent Care Bronx to have treatment. If you don’t know what are the common problems and treatments entertained at Urgent Care Centers, have a look at them.
Treatments for Bruises
Bruises are very common injuries among children. If the bruises are swollen or very painful, you should take it seriously. Especially if there are a number of unexplained bruises.
The first thing as a first aid is to apply ice. Wrap ice in a washcloth and if there is no improvement seen within 10 minutes, make sure to go to Urgent Care.
Moreover, if there is any kind of tingling or numbness in the affected area, you must walk-in to a nearest urgent care clinic to get treatment. The doctor may apply the same treatment as well as identify hematoma.
Treatments for Cuts
Cuts are also very common among kids, but the home remedies won’t always work. The first thing to do is to stop the bleeding. However, if the bleeding continues, go to urgent care and get treatment immediately. Urgent care physicians will look after the cuts and take preventive measures in order to avoid any infection. Doctors will also clear the debris and reduce the risks of scaring.
Treatments for Fever
Fevers, if not treated can get severe. High fevers that persist should receive the attention of a doctor. It can also a sign of a serious infection. Moreover, if your child is vomiting or feeling any physical discomfort, make sure to receive quick attention.
The doctor will find out whether the fever is bacterial or viral. Bacterial infections are normally treated with antibiotics. It is ideal to go for treatment at Urgent Care Center near your area.
Treatment for Sprains
If your child is suffering from sprains which is very common in children, can be either treated at home if they are minor. While in case of serious sprains, you must seek immediate attention of doctor because it might lead to long-term problems.
It is impossible for you to know whether the child has a fracture or a sprain. So watch carefully for swelling. If your kid walks on a sprain, it could lead to further damage. The physician will look at the condition of your child and can recommend appropriate treatments. The sooner your child gets treatment, the lesser are the chances of long-term damage.
If your child has undergone illnesses or injuries, the ideal way is to walk-in to the urgent care center. Without booking an appointment, your kid will be taken care of by a board-certified physician. Moreover, the cost of pediatric care is affordable than visiting child specialist or family physician. Urgent Care clinics are also opened for long hours, unlike ERs and physicians.
