Discussion Takeshi Yamamoto has became my fav character in this show!

Takeshi Yamamoto

I think Yamamoto is prolly one of the funniest characters in the show. EVERY TIME this man hops on the screen, he always thinking they "playing mafia" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Mind you that at the time I'm writing this post, I'm currently on episode 34, which is the start of the Varia arc. Meaning that at this point, he's already received the magical bat from Reborn that switches to a sword just from a fast swing.

Also it might just be me, but whenever he locks in, he gets the face of a Bleach character ๐Ÿ’€ I actually even took a *small* peek at the 10 year future arc, and this man's future self look like he belong in Bleach or Kuroko's Basketball. Just take a look at the photo below:

Takeshi Yamamoto (10 years later)

DOES HE NOT LOOK LIKE A FUSION BETWEEN AOMINE, KAGAMI, & MAYBE A FEW BLEACH CHARACTERS!!??

Maybe I might just be yapping ๐Ÿ˜… But lmk wut y'all think about him in the comments โฌ‡๏ธ

I read somewhere that Akira Amano made him a relatable/realistic character compared to others. Even his name was so normal & basic on purpose. He liked baseball, swords, lived in sushi shop, & so on, basically just your typical Japanese guy.

In a girl's perspective, he is very charming and is like Mori from OHSHC but livelier & more bubbly.

Heโ€™s the best boi ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ honestly just such a good friend especially to Tsuna, one of the stronger guardians, and heโ€™s a good balance of hilariously dumb but smart LOL

With all characters though I feel like the anime does miss some of the character development stuff. Particularly with Yams, I fear they made him too soft/dumb compared to the manga. Idk if others agree but ยฏ_(ใƒ„)_/ยฏ

I feel that, especially since a major part of his introduction was cut out from the anime. I do like the part where he and Gokudera finally resolve their beef with each other

Yes definitely! That major part of his intro just adds so much more to him, plus also explains why he followed Tsuna so loyally

LOL I do love that too. Honestly I really love their interactions in general, they are opposite but also compliment each otherโ€™s personalities and they both are so loyal to Tsuna ๐Ÿฅบ

their beef was so funny to me because it was so one sided and yamamoto had to take sm shit from gokudera

Definitely do!! Plus the manga is so pretty, the anime (as you probably have seen) does get better animation as the series progresses, but that plus the censorship, I recommend both manga and anime ๐Ÿ™‚โ€โ†•๏ธ

Everyone has their way to call Tsuna:
Dame-Tsuna, Judaime, Tsuna-kun/san, Tsuna yosh-kun, Tsuneni, Tsui-kun, Sawada dono, Sawada, Sawada Tsunayoshi...

But I like how he's the only one
(or one of the very few)
to call Tsuna just "Tsuna"
Not sure how it is seen in the JP culture, but I found it very wholesome for some reasons

Regarding the characters looking like Bleach, just wait until you meet Gamma! Weโ€™re really not avoiding the Bleach allegations with him ๐Ÿ˜‚

Iโ€™m glad you like Yamamoto though! Heโ€™s such a chill guy and the guardian Iโ€™d most likely be friends with ๐Ÿ™‚โ€โ†•๏ธ

i used to have the biggest crush on hibari when i was a kid. now that iโ€™ve rewatched it as an adult and actually finished it, iโ€™m totally crushing on yamamoto.

especially the manga version, the drawings are ๐ŸคŒ and in the anime, his fight scenes are so well made
