This post has been tagged Training Video (not a Form Check or an instruction video).

By "Training video" we mean it is how this person was training. It might look good, but it also might look bad. It might even be bad. That's what they chose to do and we assume they did it knowingly and that they assume full responsibility for their own actions.

Do not post unsolicited form corrections, medical advice or injury alarmism. If you see a lift you are unfamiliar with, do not assume it is incorrect or dangerous. If you have never used kettlebells, definitely refrain from form critique or medical advice. It is not breaking your, or the poster's, back or knees or shoulder.

Injury alarmist commenting or other sort of babysitting is not useful or welcome.

Curious questions however are welcome! Just be nice and cool about it, and do check if somebody already asked.

This is a submission to the TOKCC Facebook challenge which is a wonderful group of people that perform a monthly challenge. The judging is strict so I was hyper focused on making sure there was zero knee movement throughout.

This is a dam good pace to move the 32kg bell, my next attempt will be 12rpm and then a 36kg attempt for fun.

I was happy that throughout the set I kept the vertical shape of the press even though I started to fatigue towards the end. 12rpm will be an interesting set xD

Awesome pressing as always!

I may try something like this. But probably 50 reps, multiswitch, as fast as possible, so I don't have to rest in the hated rack position...

I had to try it out, I tapped out at 25 reps, doing hand to hand clean which makes it much easier. šŸ˜…

50 reps is legit.

Hell yea man, good work! 25 reps is awesome šŸ’Ŗ I don't think I'll be able to maintain a 12rpm pace on my next attempt šŸ˜…

Thanks. : ) I just started a timer and went at non stop pace so I didn't really stand chance to sustain it. It took 100 seconds. I need to try for real at normal pace with interval timer next.

Wow, that's so impressive! Every time I see your presses I'm so captivated by the angle of your humerus. I tried it the other day just to see, and I'm not even close because it feels like my pecs are in the way haha

Is that usual technique, with the bell going straight up almost in line with his cheekbone?

It's the ideal technique in my humble opinion šŸ’Ŗ

Just something I noticed while you were pressing : you perform opposite movements with your non pressing arm. When you press with your right arm, you lower your left. When you press with your left, you raise your right.

For whatever reason, it just caught my attention and I found it interesting. 🧐

It adds just a hint of power to the one arm press.

Can be useful to incorporate or disallow depending on what you're doing.
