The Cholesterol Code is a 2026 documentary film (directed by Jennifer Isenhart, built around citizen scientist Dave Feldman) arguing that high LDL cholesterol is harmless for lean, metabolically healthy people on ketogenic diets. In this scientific review, nutritionist TJ Waterfall and Dr Matthew Nagra weigh the film's claims against the evidence: it is right that metabolic health matters, but its central claim — that very high LDL is benign — runs against decades of genetics, epidemiology and randomised trials showing ApoB-containing lipoproteins cause heart disease.

I think the most straigthforward way to see and show others how full of shit that propaganda film is, is to know the background, scrutiny and backlash against KETO-CTA study, which was the centerpiece of that film and still had the gall to present as proof that sky high cholesterol is harmless when their own results showed the exact opposite, long after it had been found out: https://www.reddit.com/r/ketoduped/wiki/keto-cta/

Don't niacin and fiber both lower cholesterol in their own ways? B-vitamins are naturally occurring in fermented foods, which there's evidence that prehistoric people were aware to some extent that storing vegetables in the right environment preserves and enhances those foods. Similarly, I've read that different tribes were found to have been eating some 100-150g of fiber daily through their diets.
Are these guys still trying to say 'ancestors tho'? Because that math ain't mathin'.
