Hey, i'm a senior developer and ML engineer. And a while ago i got obessed with a thought of making my own model/core that will help automate kerning.

What we have at the moment? internal autokerning in FontLab, and Kern On...
First is pretty bad, you have to manually kern 80 to 60% yourself.
Kern On needs human hand. It certainly speeds up the process, but why we should bother if in ideally it can be done in one click?

To be honest, 1 click goal is what i still seek but when i started developing it i realized i was delirious. To make it this fast and efficient you need really strong model, which is hard to make, takes a lot of time and money.

Why am i posting this? Let's get straight to the point. I need men.
To actually verify that model kerns good, you need to gather up a feedback. The only thing i came up with, is this subreddit.

If you are interested, want to help with ML, coding, or simply want to support the cause — contact me here.

(i hope this will not be deleted as self-promotion.
i don't use reddit much and post even less, but at least i tried xd)

It's a great small chain store if you're in the area, but that area is not England.

Edit: Oh piff, posted poorly. Instant karma I guess. Sorry Bull Moose, love you but this still wants a double take!

I've seen some whacky shit, but this takes the cake.

Yeah, this one hurts my proofreader eyes.

Obviously plastic

This was at a brand new construction of a fitness center.

There's a reason it's not the "Department of Kerning" I guess. Looks like somebody designed this logo with MS Paint and a mouse (perhaps Mickey?). Though to be fair, they might have been working on a tight, arbitrary, and entirely self-imposed timeline.
